[A few days after gravity is restored to the station, Ryuji returns to the mess hall from Haru's garden to find a small robot flipped upside down, panicking through a series of morse beeps and boops, which- okay, that's kind of cool, and quickly figures out that the paneling and suction entrances of the little guy means it's probably meant for filtration and cleaning.
Looks pretty study, looks... waterproof, maybe? He lends a hand to get him right side up and it starts slowly moving forward. Ryuji takes out his communicator and immediately films this as it happens, because, why not?
He posts two videos on the network- the roomba moving down the hall and one, a few hours later in the fitness center as it crawls from the edge, and dives right in.]
Oh shit! Are you supposed to do that?
Whoa, whoa- I don't know how to fix you if you--- WHOA, COOL.
Hey, sup?
Just lettin you guys know the pool looks crystal clear now. All thanks to this little dude.
I figure I should give 'em a name but uh
Everything that comes to mind is kinda lame
Anyway, I think it's good? Anyone wanna give it the first try?

Yeah, sure. I never have to say anything to my stylist, she just kinda knows how to do it, so I'm sorry if I ain't a lick of help here, yo.
[And don't mind him as he eagerly moves into Hajime's hand combing through his hair. God, he's so starved for affection and human contact that this is practically soothing him and as he recognizes it, he sits there with his eyes closed, happy. At least for a few seconds, that is.
Gross. Sorry, Hajime.]

For now, Hajime's still just combing his fingers through Ryuji's hair, ostensibly to make sure there aren't any knots in it, but mostly to work up his courage. This is different from attempting to mutilate his own hair, and he suddenly gets why Ryuji had been so uncertain before.
...Then again, he can't mess it up any worse, right? And the way the other boy is leaning into his hand is kind of cute...
He pulls his hand back and clears his throat, capturing a bit of hair between his fingers to try giving it an angled trim like Ryuji had done on his hair before. He really shouldn't think about another boy like that... Ryuji's going to think he's weird.]
Well, if you're not gonna help, you're gonna have to live with the consequences, [he says after a second, mentally shaking his head to try to rid himself of that weird warmth.]

God, this is such a bad idea.
There's no real way of knowing that Hajime's dealing with the nervousness of committing to the salon gig that they have going on in the bathroom here. Besides, he's pretty much just sitting there, content at his head getting touched like this, as it sends small numb feelings at the base of his neck and up through his brain. There's really nothing nearly as calming as this, and if it just so happens that he ends up looking cute out of this entire thing, it's totally missed on him.
That was the best part of going to get his hair cut anyway. They did the type of shampoo where they massaged your head, and man, even if it was a few bucks more than the other places, it was the same one his mom went to, and he wouldn't betray her sense of good judgment. Even if the stylists yelled at him all the time for ruining his hair by bleaching it.]
Hmmmmn? [Slowly coming out of the bliss of the moment, dumbstruck a few moments when it registers what Hajime was talking about.] Oh. Yeah, yeah. Consequences. Don't think too much about it. If you're relaxed, it'll come easier.
