I'm afraid my training in hand to hand combat was nigh non-existent; I've trained primarily with a greatsword, a longbow, and to a small extent, a lance. I'm a knight, not a monk - I'm not sure where I'd begin to relearn whatever meager teachings I was given on the practice.
As a sidenote, I'm curious to know more about what you referred to in your previous message as 'quirks'. You've defined them as 'supernatural' abilities but I worry our definitions of 'natural' might differ greatly.
