[Bless Raleigh for at least giving Aizawa some context for y'all's Issues with all this. Aizawa finds everything about these conversations tiresome, but he doesn't lack sympathy for the kind of situation that's been described to him, which restores his patience to some degree.]

I take it you're from one of the "mutant genocide" societies, so we'll take this point by point.

1. A public listing of abilities is added insurance against someone who would try to harm others. For example, if someone is threatened by an individual who uses fire, and it's publicly known there's someone with a water Quirk, they can be called for help directly in an emergency.

2. Those who would otherwise cause trouble might be deterred by the known presence of particularly powerful individuals.

3. Even if I were to misuse the information offered to me, it would still exist to allow you the ability to brainstorm the best possible angles to subdue me with.

4. The same goes for any potential coercion on my part.

Whether or not you choose to take me at my word is entirely up to you. It's only reasonable to be cautious, but paranoia won't serve any of us in escaping from here.
