This morning, I received a message on my communicator from the username m.muller. When I tried to message them back, all I received was an error. I don't recognize her, but maybe someone else will.
[So Mako attaches a video file. There's a woman with frizzy red hair and freckles on screen, looking slightly panicked. "My name is Martina Muller," she says, and her voice is calm and slightly accented. There's a sudden crash behind her, and she cuts herself off with a gasp. "You have to warn the others! There is a traitor on board. Wherever you are, there is a traitor on board, you have to–"
And then the message cuts off.]
It seems like not everyone received it, so it wasn't a network wide broadcast. As far as I can tell, it came from the station, but I don't know where.
I also tried to unlock one of the doors. I've figured out which wires control the locking mechanism, but nothing I did to override or overload them seemed to work. Has anyone else had any luck?

My thanks for sharing it.
So what we know thus far is that:
1) They were attempting to "save the world."
2) Whatever they were doing exactly, they tried and failed multiple times; at least six.
3) One of these failures ended in catastrophe. They claim that they did the "opposite" of saving the world, but the only effects we can see from here are the damage to the lower decks of the station, and the disappearance of the crew.
4) From what you received, it seems likely that the attempt they expected to be successful failed because of a traitor.
As for the doors, I haven't heard of anyone having success yet.
Even @APOLLO2 couldn't find a way to bypass them from the outside of the station.

[It's extremely worrying.]
Don't recognise her, myself. Could be an old distress signal, still in the system somewhere? Think we'd be able to tell if the station was crashing around us, at the moment.

you tried any kind of brute force tactic to get the doors open? real strong people or whatever. i know trying to break through the man-eating walls that way has weird 'come down from adderall' effects, but a guy can hope

And no luck with the doors I'm afraid. It's completely mad. I think it's about time we applied a little more brute force to the situation...

@gamoras
No luck. They can't be forced open, either.
But I also received an archived message. The one that was posted discussed on here earlier.
A woman said, "Wait, there's a problem, we're not where we" and then cut off.
Perhaps the traitor changed their course.
she has the poser username now
listen, at least it's not gamoralyingly

[ a survivor on the inside shooting out every clip they can get their hands on, or a clever comms technician who set the messages to go out randomly to any live receptors in the vicinity, even after their own death. she assumes the latter was how the last message from an alien death trap was sent to her ship. ]

[ He can only really speak to the group in the gym, of course; has been too busy mapping out the station (as best he can) to bother with being social. A mistake, evidently. ]
I suppose a timestamp would be expecting too much. To give us a point of reference to work from.
