Yeah, sorta. This station is already built a little different from what I'm used to - Tycho's only got one main ring, after all. And we don't got the same kind of thoroughfare like it does - it's built a bit like a mini-city.
But generally, things tend to be put in places where they make the most sense. The main gardens tend to be next to the water treatment facilities, 'cause they often use plants to help with the water treatment. Everythin' that we need to live tends to be on the Habitat ring, the part that's spinnin', since that's where the gravity is. Air locks and hangars tend to be in the non-moving areas of the station. But it's a bit like city plannin' - there's lots of reasons to put some things in some places and you can argue for a long time.
