I find myself in need of some services.

I am in need of several people to help achieve a personal project of mine. I've recently become acquainted with some of the works in the library that is new to me, but perhaps old to you. The Much Ado About Nothing play from William Shakespeare.

I need fairly convincing actors, and those with an artistic touch to set a stage.

I am open to discussion. I would like to do this fairly soon, perhaps in a week.

If I'm completely honest, I don't think I really know what dating might entail on board the station.

We're already- I mean, we've had sexual intercourse... [He glanced away, a hint of a smile tugging at his lips.] And I'd like to engage in those kinds of activities with you again.

[reposing]

That is something I am also learning, admittedly. My ... methods are a bit stifled more than usual. I'm attempting to adjust, but perhaps I need to expand my options.

[Alucard smiles faintly and bows his head as well, remembering all too well.]

I rather enjoyed it as well. More importantly, I enjoy you, Connor. So long as you understand that I wish to be in your company for more than just sex, then gladly I would be with you.

I didn't think that. [Connor gave him a small, almost reassuring smile. As naive and inexperienced as he was with this sort of thing, would he have even realized if Alucard had been solely after sex?]

I consider you a friend. It sounds like you would also consider me a friend.

If we were 'dating', what would change? Do you wish to engage in more romantic exchanges? If that's the case, I'm happy to try that. [He wasn't sure how good he would be at romance. He wasn't designed to be a companion as much as most other androids were, but he'd do his best.]

[reposing]

I'm glad. [Though he's sure he's made it distinctly clear, he never wants to treat Connor like a machine or give him the idea that it's acceptable as such. He values him too much, and he's far too certain that Connor is alive.

He considers, then adds softly:] I would at least attempt to do so. And I would welcome whatever affections you wish to give me.

You do not need to treat me differently, or if you want to try anything I am open to it. More than anything, I would see you happy, Connor.

[Connor tilted his head slightly, looking down at Alucard with a soft smile. He almost felt like he should get down on his knees as well but, instead, he leans forward where he's seated to lightly rest his forehead against Alucard's before tilting his head to brush his lips lightly over his.]

Your romantic intentions are noted. I... I appreciate your forwardness. [He realized it was an odd thing to say, but he was also fairly certain that Alucard would understand his gratitude. Connor still found the nuances of things like flirting a little difficult to properly identify at times and a person's intentions could be even more difficult.] I would still happily help you put on this play.

[reposing]

[The affection is honestly all that he could ask for. It is light and soft, and he leans into whatever it is that Connor will give him. Lightly, he nuzzles the android's jawline.]

I would welcome any assistance you wish to give. And your company, as always.

Tomorrow, I have asked others to come to a rehearsal of sorts. We'll find a role for you, if you still wish to then.

[He smiles warmly, reaching up to trace his fingers over Connor's cheek.] Thank you. For your help, and accepting me.

[Connor slowly slid forward, pushing Alucard down onto the ground as he settled over his lap, legs straddling Alucard's.]

For accepting you? [Connor smiled softly, though his brow was furrowed in confusion.] Of course. Why... wouldn't I?

[Tilting his head slightly, he lightly ran his fingers over the fabric of Alucard's shirt, LED spinning as he processed the feeling under his fingertips.]

[reposing]

[Oh. There might have been a lot of ways he'd expected this conversation to turn out, but Connor helping himself to his lap is not one of them.

Not that he's going to complain at all. Alucard settles a hand to his hip, then presses a tender kiss to the nape of the android's neck.]

There would have been several reasons for most individuals to refuse me. [Though Connor is certainly a far cry from most people he's ever met.] And I admit that I was concerned that I would have put you into an uncomfortable position with my confession.

[His expression remained neutral, though he canted his head to the side slightly, apparently still not completely following what Alucard was implying.]

You're attractive and considerate... I believe those are two things that people often find very desirable when looking for a partner.

[His head tilted a little more, though he smiled softly and brushed some of Alucard's hair back from his face, tucking it behind his ear.] An uncomfortable position? How so?

[reposing]

Most people would see me as a monster before anything else.

[His eyes close a moment, enjoying the feeling of his fingers touching his hair.]

I have asked you some difficult questions before. I don't wish for you to feel as if you must do anything you did not want to on my behalf -- or that I am forcing you to act or speak in a way. I want you to want this. To want me, as terribly selfish as that may sound.

Forgive me. I still find it difficult to imagine humans treating you like a monster. Perhaps because vampires do not exist where I'm from.

[He began to slide his hand to cup Alucard's face but hesitated a moment, frowning sympathetically.]

It seems we both have difficulty with that. Maybe... that's for the best? I think I like that you treat me... the same way you treat everyone else. [His LED flickered as he thought back through what he'd just said, not entirely sure that it was right of him to feel that way.]

I... I think, I do. It's difficult for me to say. It's a little outside of the scope of my programming. But I don't feel compelled to agree to date you.

[A faint blush worked its way across his cheeks as he failed to hide a soft, sheepish smile.] I can confirm without any doubt that I do 'want you'.

[reposing]

[His eyes open, and he looks at Connor, listening carefully. He reaches up, taking Connor's hand and pressing his cheek into it.]

And I am always grateful for how you've treated me. If humans could make someone like you, then perhaps... perhaps there is still indeed some hope for them yet.

[It's a lovely thing, watching him blush. Though his blood, as it were, is blue it's obvious to him how much detail went into making him as lifelike as possible. It seems so ridiculous to him that humans would make Connor and never expect him to be alive.]

You flatter me. [Alucard smiles.] If nothing else, I look forward to our days together here. To learn more about you, and what brings you joy.

[The dhampir leans in, lightly pressing his lips against Connor's.]

[The lengths humans would go to for aesthetics. Who would want to see a machine taking care of their children or jobs side by side humans? That would just be creepy.]

I only hope I don't disappoint you.

[He murmured the words against Alucard's lips before sinking into the kiss, eyes slipping shut as their fingers intertwined. After a moment, he reluctantly broke the kiss though he didn't pull away, LED flickering thoughtfully.]

I'm unsure of the proper etiquette involved in our new relationship. Should I introduce myself to Minato or am I not supposed to?

[reposing]

You won't.

[Alucard quietly relishes the closeness, the affection. He felt as though he'd been holding back for sometime now since they'd been intimate, but there were bits that escaped him.

Lightly, he nuzzles his cheek.] Only if you wish to. I think that perhaps Minato may appreciate it. I would even say he's more familiar with androids than I am.

[rk800connor]

Oh?

[He runs his free hand through Alucard's hair, obviously a little distracted with playing with it, twirling the long strands between his fingers as he speaks.]

Androids are common where he's from?

[It's an idle curiosity, but simply hearing that Minato would likely prefer if Connor did contact him was enough to persuade him to do so.]

[reposing]

[The contact is so soft, tender even; Alucard can't quite recall the last time something relaxed him so.]

Bear in mind, it's not precisely a high bar for one to know androids more than I do. But he was friends with one before. You may wish to speak to him about it.

It is my hope that you two will at least be comfortable with one another. I would demand nothing of either of you.

Would you still say that? You're friends with an android now, too. Friends and more. [His smile edges on teasing, eyes glinting with a hint of mischief.

He pauses, going completely still for a moment, LED flickering rapidly for a few seconds before he blinks and refocuses on Alucard.] There. I've sent him a message. Hopefully he and I can speak soon.

[reposing]

[That earns a warm laugh from Alucard, and he reaches up to gently take Connor by the chin to steal a brief kiss from him.] I may know you intimately, but I admit I still have much to learn from you yet, Connor.

I hope so as well. He is a kind young man. He can be somewhat hard to read, but he is not cold. Perhaps just reluctant at first when it comes to someone new.

I've said this before, but I see no harm in reiterating... if you ever have any questions, I'm more than happy to answer them to the best of my ability.

[He happily leaned into the kiss, chasing to return it with a soft smile.]

Do you need to go? You have a play to prepare, after all. [He makes the offer, but doesn't move, except for to keep running his fingers through Alucard's hair, more than a little preoccupied with it.]

[reposing]

I know. And... if the curiosity ever arises, you are welcome to ask me anything as well.

[He hums at the returned kiss. It would be so tempting to remain here and soak in Connor's affection, but he does have quite the task ahead of him. Instead, the dhampir gently pushes Connor out of his lap before he stands, but not without leaving him with another kiss.]

I should. There is much to do. But I-- thank you, for being understanding and so welcoming. Know that I am immensely grateful for you, your help and your kindness.

[And he will have to think of something to do for Connor. Perhaps not a date quite like for Minato.
