Hello everyone!

My name is Haru Okumura. As it seems we will be stuck on this station for quite some time, and our sources of food are quite limited. I have been searching around the station for the means to make some sort of garden, and I think I have succeeded!

[Attached to her post is a photo of a pile of different tubing, trays, and other equipment that might suggest she is trying to start an indoor garden. Think of supplies like this! There are no bigger tubes for water filtration yet since she can't carry them alone, but that can be worked out.]

I realize that if we are to be living on this station we will need to be able to provide for ourselves in some way, and this is the best way I could think to help that along. Especially considering the incidents we have been facing with the food replicator.

I can't do this alone though. I will need people who wouldn't mind helping me build the system, and people who will not be opposed to maintaining it. Thank you for your time!

the mess hall still need the tables
they're made to be multi-purpose, if they're anything like home. under the plexi, the plants grow and help the air filtering of the mess hall in itself
above the plexi, we eat

i think there's two goals here
yours - a garden to actually grow food
and a second one - actual plants that can help us breathe better

i can help with the second part better than the first, i don't have a green thumb but i know how air filtering grids work

It does feel like this station is something of a scavenger hunt doesnt it?
Im not sure why things are in such queer places but its not the fun kind of search thats for sure.
Ill help you look though! I might wear glasses but im good at playing hide and seek with items.

Mightve been easy to get in and tough to get out but there IS a way out if there was a way in!
We just have to find it is all.

Is it okay if I ask you to give me advice and guidance on the air filtering grid then? I don't know much except for things that I have read in books. It isn't quite the same as putting it into practice.

Honestly, I'm in it for the fresh water. There's not a lot to go around here and I think it's starting to affect me

We all have our reasons for doing things. If yours is for the water then I absolutely cannot fault you for that.

Between finding things in odd places and showing up here in the first place... sometimes I wonder what dimension we are really in right now.

I dont know a whole lot about dimensions but i do know there are different ones!
So i guess items might be popping in and out. I wonder if a net would help...

Ah but yep!
As long as we keep trying were bound to figure it out eventually and get the heck out.
In the meantime some fresh veggies will be nice.

I am familiar with parallel reality. But whole new dimensions? That is a little out there for me.

Do you think we will ever be able to go home?

Oh really? Parallel realities sound neat though!
But i guess ours is more like... parallel universes?
I admit im not the brains of my group. One of them would be able to explain it better.
I just know they work.

Of course i do!
Without a doubt.
Its just a matter of figuring out the way.
But i have a good feeling the way exists.

Oh they're certainly interesting.
Think about looking into the mind of someone else and seeing how they view the world around you. That is what I mean by parallel realities.
Parallel universes sounds rather complicated though.

It is reassuring to hear (read?) someone else thinking the same thing.
I think we must have a purpose here, and when that purpose is fulfilled...maybe then we can go home?
