I haven't been awake long, but I've been trying to read up on what I can, so a couple of quick questions:
1. Anyone managed to get past one of the locked doors yet? Either with force or another way. I know people were trying, but I haven't heard if anyone's succeeded.
2. I was told something about an organic humanoid capable of exiting the station without protective gear. If so, I'd love to talk to you.
3. Other Force-sensitives, I'd appreciate if we established ROEs immediately.

Thanks.

I am grateful to your offering, Revan. Let me know when you are willing to share.

A gentleman. I would not have anticipated one in the stars like this.

[His voice sounds a little lighter, appreciative -- it's a good chance he's smiling.]

I spend much of my time in room 23 on the sixth floor. It's to be our clinic. Come by at your next opportunity.

[That is far from something he'd ever expect to hear, presumably from a human no less. Then again, perhaps Revan is not?

Or he is just that compassionate. Alucard isn't sure yet.]

I will be waiting.

[In retrospect, Alucard is immensely tall by comparison. Despite his exhaustion and slow recovery, he maintains a grace about him, even as he stands from a desk he'd been organizing.

In return, he offers the bow of his head.]
It is good to meet you in person, Revan.

Please, I understand. Seat yourself, and I will answer any questions you have. I suppose I should begin by explaining what I will do.

[He gestures Revan to a chair, if he chooses.]

Vampires typically will bite the neck of their ... choice, then drink the blood that comes to the surface. We have the fangs for it. It will feel like a pinch, but after that it should be painless.

In better circumstances, I would draw with a needle, but we have nothing like that here. So this is, unfortunately, what I must do.

I will not take more than agreed upon.

[No matter how terribly tempting.]

I can answer any other questions you may have.

No, I do not. I can even store the blood and drink it at a later date. Right now, I don't believe we have any units capable of refrigeration, but I could be mistaken. More than that, still no method to safely draw blood.

[He acknowledges the man's questions with a nod, taking no offense. It's more understandable from someone who has never heard of his species, as opposed to some of the other blatant remarks he's heard from those who are familiar with vampires.]

The neck is... preferable. [Alucard shrugs a shoulder.] The flavor is more palatable there, and more acidic tasting anywhere else.

The blood flow is normally stopped by scabbing over almost immediately. A side-effect, if you will, from our drinking. It is not deadly, unless I don't stop.

[In return, Alucard does chuckle softly, appreciating the hint of humor. Though Revan is unfamiliar with vampires, he's still grateful for his manners and contribution.

He holds out his hand politely.]

Stand with me, and relax.

I will only take what is needed.

[There is a pause, and he finds that what Revan says is true. The man isn't alarmed or concerned in the least, and not afraid of Alucard. An unfortunate but blessed rarity. It means more to him than he thinks he can truly say right at the moment.]

I believe you.

[A graceful bow of Alucard's head is given to Revan.] Then know that I am more grateful than words can allow. For your compassion, and your gift.

[Alucard releases Revan's hand, instead coming up to cup the back of his head and gently guiding him to adjust his position to better expose his neck. Then, he leans in, his fangs piercing skin like a pair of needles, a momentary pinching pain before he begins to drink the blood that comes to surface.]

[It is a twisted, dark temptation to drink and drink -- to take it all and leave him as but a husk. The urge is there, usually so much easier to deny when he isn't struggling against so much already.

But he isn't so weak willed, and he tempers himself. Slowly, he sucks, drinking in the blessedly hot blood given to him. Between him and Venus, this will supply him some meager strength for a time. Alucard will gather himself, in due time.

Eventually, the dhampir releases Revan, sighing as he leans his head back and licks his own lips.]

I will not forget your selflessness. [His voice is already a few degrees warmer by the sound of it, less tired and withdrawn.]

[It's difficult to not smile back. Alucard's expression is warm and grateful.]

More could do with realizing that. I understand their fear, but it is tiring at times to try to convince others I won't hurt them.

That you are, Revan. I will try not to ask more than necessary, but if there's anything I can do to assist in return, I am at your disposal.
