I haven't been awake long, but I've been trying to read up on what I can, so a couple of quick questions:

1. Anyone managed to get past one of the locked doors yet? Either with force or another way. I know people were trying, but I haven't heard if anyone's succeeded.
2. I was told something about an organic humanoid capable of exiting the station without protective gear. If so, I'd love to talk to you.
3. Other Force-sensitives, I'd appreciate if we established ROEs immediately.

There's a group of us getting together to tackle the doors by force but a few people have become trapped in them before now. By all means have a go yourself, but be warned. Some of those doors fight back.

And with regards to point number 2, I think it's me you're looking for. My name's Apollo.

Has anyone located access panels for them and tried opening them that way?

I think the best comparison for people who aren't accustomed to the Force would be calling it telekinesis.

Are we consolidating this information anywhere? I know someone is putting together skills and the like, but I haven't seen anything about what we've individually learned about this station.

This wasn't so much a door as a wall panel but I figure it's the same thing. The defence mechanism kicked in and weakened me until I had to stop. It's a bitch to get around.

Yeah, there's are a few info dossiers shared here. Knock yourself out, it makes for good (depressing) reading.

Re: the shuttle bay, I'm not sure. I saw something that looked like it COULD have been a hangar door but it was too far away to tell. My first run outside was just a scouting run really, next time I've got a shopping list of things to look out for.

Could be. You were using solar energy in a blast? [ that's his guess, from what he's been told and the post that was linked. ] My guess is that you were within line-of-sight of the door?

Thanks for the information. I'm still trying to piece together my understanding of the situation/environment, but so far I'm thinking I won't recommend this as a vacation destination.

Yeah, solar energy and line of sight. I tried it like a laser mostly, but I also gave a flare a go. Both had the same effect. So frustrating.

And yes, agreed. The pool is nowhere near 5* quality. I think we're all due a refund.

I hear you're handy with this Force thing. What is it, magic?

Intriguing. I would have liked to see it, I think, regardless of the results. Maybe if there's cause again.
I think I'd like to try it from elsewhere on the station, just to see what the range is/how sophisticated this thing is. Couple of floors between me and the panel/door in question, maybe?

Some people call it magic, but it's not really. It's an energy that some people are born being able to tap into, which we can then use in a number of ways. And like any power, it can be used for good or evil-- which is one reason why I'm trying to get those of us who have access to it to agree to play nicely together.

Anyone has that potential if they get it in their head to. I just want to keep it from happening.

Sure, though thus far they seem pretty amenable to the idea, if suspicious. Can't blame them for that.

When did you have your memory wiped?

It's been a while now. Luckily, I remember a fair bit now, but I'm sure there are things that will never come back. It was a pretty thorough job.

It was a combination of factors. My abilities being peculiar played a large part in it, I'm sure.

So what are these abilities exactly? You mentioned telekinesis before.
