I haven't been awake long, but I've been trying to read up on what I can, so a couple of quick questions:

1. Anyone managed to get past one of the locked doors yet? Either with force or another way. I know people were trying, but I haven't heard if anyone's succeeded.
2. I was told something about an organic humanoid capable of exiting the station without protective gear. If so, I'd love to talk to you.
3. Other Force-sensitives, I'd appreciate if we established ROEs immediately.

You are, [ he agrees mildly, and crosses toward the bar, hopping up onto it as casually as you please. a second glass drifts up from behind the bar, and he plucks it out of the air, picking up the bottle with his free hand to peer at its worn label. ] --On a scale of one to industrial solvent, where would you rate this?

[ not that it matters much. he's pouring a glass of it anyway, setting the bottle back down and crossing his ankles. ]

You clearly know me-- what do you prefer to be called?

Somewhere between Garrmorl and jet juice, [ the first name is more of a rumbling purr than a word, his best approximation of Shyriiwook with his woefully inadequate human vocal chords. any Wookiee worth their salt would be in hysterics. ]

Not the smoothest going down, but needs must.

[ he lifts the glass, ] Ren.

[ despite himself, he grins at the attempt at shyriiwook. it's definitely not a language that humans should attempt to speak, and that's a clear example why. their throats just don't make the same noises. still, it was a fair attempt, so he tips his glass toward him and then takes a sip.

ugh. .. though not the worst he's had by far, so he limits his reaction to a quick face, then downs the rest of the glass, setting it aside with a small cough. ]

Ren. It's a pleasure to put a face and a name to the Force signature.

[warfares]

[ Ren handles his drink a little better, though it might have less to do with any innate ability and more to do with his being accustomed to various flavors of discomfort. besides, he's not drinking for pleasure. ]

I would say the same of you but I'm still trying to decide whether or not I've made a grave mistake in coming here.

[ in the interest of honesty. ]

[warcried]

[ his brows lift, curious and questioning. ] Are you? [ that's a fair enough concern where revan is concerned. there's a reason people are afraid of him, after all, no matter that the republic's labeled him a hero once more. ] I have no quarrel with you or anyone else on this station, as far as I know.

[ though he's a little curious about what point this stranger is from, and how he'd managed to evade jedi attempts to control or eliminate those that use the dark side. ]

[warfares]

Well, for one thing you said Dantooine wasn't all bad. [ you're never, ever living that one down. ]

[warcried]

[ he's startled into laughter at the comment, unexpected and pleased in spite of himself. he's so accustomed to unhappy wariness that this takes him by surprise. ]

It's not! I mean, not compared to most planets on the Outer Rim.

[warfares]

[ look, you have to have lived under a rock to not know who Revan was. what he did. the wary curiosity of observing a legend in the flesh might have overrode his sense of self-preservation, albeit temporarily. ]

I've been to the Outer Rim, several times. You're in denial.

[warcried]

I'm from the Outer Rim! [ he's smiling helplessly, though, as he pours himself another glass and takes care to sip this one instead. ] Maybe it's just loyalty to my embarrassingly awful roots.

[ not that he remembers exactly what planet he's from, which is a combination of being so young when he'd been taken and memory loss. it's like his birth-name, probably lost forever. ]

[warfares]

[ he extends his glass, expectant. ]

You're shorter than I expected.

[warcried]

[ his glance is a dry one, but he pours for ren, too. ]

That seems to be the general consensus, yes. I suppose I must look taller in holos. [ he's sure the mask and robes had something to do with it, too. still, if they'd seen him next to malak, it would have been obvious that revan is.. smallish. ]

[warfares]

In fairness, the most recent Dark Lord came in at close to seven foot.[ he tips back his glass. ] Terrifying, by all accounts.

[warcried]

[ he clicks his tongue. ] Malak was tall, too. [ amazingly, he can speak of him, think of him, without the pain he's associated with him until now. maybe it's because there's.. distance now. ] I think I'm generally considered an outlier in a lot of ways.

[warfares]

So was Bane, [ this is, perhaps, the most surreal conversation he's had barring that brief run in with the younger version of his uncle, ] supposedly.

[ then, adds: ] He was after your time.

[warcried]

[ ah, well that somewhat answers that question: ren is from some point after revan's death. ]

--How long after my time?

[warfares]

Several millennia, give or take. [ precise records were difficult to come by. even with his access to the Jedi archives, even some of Palpatine's own artefacts, his knowledge is patchy at best. ]

[warcried]

[ his brows shoot up. ] So you are from around the time the others here hail from. [ he'd wondered how closely they were all connected. it seems revan himself is the outlier in this, too, which is.. curious. why him, of all people in the galaxy? why their time in particular? ]

[warfares]

You spoke with a ㅡ [ hesitation, tongue dragging across his teeth as he searches for the right word, ] ㅡ someone from my time, on the network.

The other one, the boy ㅡ him I do not know.

[warcried]

The suspicious one, [ he clarifies with another quick smile, one part exasperated and one part amused. ] Had no idea who I am. Lots of sarcasm.

[warfares]

The Jedi and the Sith are extinct in our time; she would have no reason to know of you.

[warcried]

And yet you do. [ for some reason. but he'd also had teachers of some sort-- maybe the last of them. ]

[warfares]

I do, [ there is no point in denying that, not after he'd already quite thoroughly tipped his hand. ]

My uncle found an artifact from your time, a ㅡ [ he taps at his throat, ] shard from one of your sabers. He kept it close.

[warcried]

[ he goes very still for a moment, surprised in spite of himself. ] I've had a number of them. [ he's not gentle with his weapons. ] I'm surprised that one of them endured even that much after so long.

[warfares]

I don't know how he came by it, [ one of his excursions, he thinks. even before he had become Luke's student, his uncle had been diligent in his search for anything of value that had survived Palpatine's reign. ]

I think he must have admired you, in his way.

[warcried]

[ something distant and uncomfortable flits across his expression and is shuttered away again, so quick it'd be easy to miss. ]

I'm not precisely the sort of man one should admire.

[ not given his background, what he's done. though he supposes he can see someone looking at him as an example of someone who'd shed conventional wisdom about the force and the light and dark side, forged his own path somewhere in the middle.

he shakes his head, lifts his glass to take a sip, wincing again faintly. ] Your uncle was your teacher?
