My ship is sentient. She's called the Carrier. I think if she wanted to kill us she'd have just kicked us all out in to space...
[ luckily, the Carrier actually seems to
like
the Authority. Sometimes there's just no accounting for taste. ]
Liquefying, melting, phasing... whatever it was, it was a nasty way to go. Definitely not going to forget that any time soon.
