Since it seems many of us are coming close to preparing to attempt to break down at least one of the locked doors, I find it necessary to prepare myself further and have the strength necessary to help.

As stated before, I am a dhampir. That is to say, I am half-vampire by my father. I look for any who bleed to volunteer and allow me to drink from you. The more that I have, the stronger that I will be.

With that request in place, I ask another: I want to know if anyone here has been properly ordained. I am in need of holy water.

You'd be surprised at my imagination.

[A smile pulls at his lips at that, and he looks over his shoulder to his wings. Betrayal by his own astral powers. He should have expected it, though. No way around the lies now.]

Lucifer. Fallen angel.

[He sighs, but he's also resigned to it. It would have come out eventually, seeing as he was unlikely to age at this point.]

...I wanted to be human a little longer. Apologies for my deceit.

[reposing]

[Alucard doesn't elaborate further, not right now. Gingerly, he touches his own chest, as if he needs the brutal reminder.]

I know of you.

[Hard not to be, after all.

He shakes his head at the apology.]

You aren't the only one who has deceived others. I thought you would be hiding something, but not quite like this.

Why do you masquerade as a human?

I figured you might.

[Maybe not everyone would, but a vampire? Probably.

He rolls his neck, hearing the bones crack.]

It is nice to shed my mantle. People have preconceived notions about Lucifer, don't you think? They have no such things about Sakuya Kira.

[reposing]

So you would prefer if I were irritated by a student with a poor attitude.

[Alucard's tone is a bit wry, but softens once again.]

Is this something I should keep between us?

That's who Kira is.

[It's stated as a fact. Not because he wanted to be an asshole, just. That's who he is. It isn't something Lucifer cam change, or if it is, he is not inclined to.]

You would like him much more than me, I assure you.

I'd appreciate it if you would, but I realize you owe me nothing.

[reposing]

[Well, he isn't about to question that further. Perhaps Kira was once a human man that Lucifer took the guise of? Alucard has questions, but he won't ask them right at the moment.]

You gave me your blood, and despite Kira's crass behavior he has been helpful, in his way.

I can keep your secret, Lucifer.

[counterfeitheart]

[Folding his wings up, they disappear as Kira smiles once more, falling easily back into that personality now.]

Thanks, man.

[He leans in real quick for a kiss and if Alucard isn't fast enough he's gonna catch his lips before he bounces backwards and heads toward the door.]

And that's for me.

[The only reason Alucard doesn't back away quickly enough is purely because he simply doesn't expect it. He looks alarmed as Kira takes his quick kiss, but doesn't think fast enough to stop him.

The dhampir scowls and picks up a mug, as if silently threatening to throw it after him.]

Just leave, you scoundrel.

[Oh no Kira is tickled by the reaction, his grin widening as he hurries out of the door to escape the wrath of the mug, making certain to yell back:]
