I'm not exactly sure where they're coming from, but...
It seems as though there are quite a few animals showing up on the station?
I thought it might be prudent to have a sort of pet registry, so we at least know who to return them to if we find them wandering the station.
We know how dangerous this place can be, after all, and I wouldn't want any of them to get themselves hurt.

On that note, there's a white cat who followed me to my room.
I'd like to get her back to whoever lost her.

Everyone but one other person is from a different time than me too. So the Emperor doesn't mean as much for them, I guess.

this is going to sound stupid, but is that common where you're from? people being from... different times, as well as planets?

because i mean time travel is just as impossible as interstellar space travel where i'm from

No, it's not normal. I figure it has something to do with the different universes thing here. I've heard of other people here, not from my galaxy, experiencing something similar.
