I'm not exactly sure where they're coming from, but...
It seems as though there are quite a few animals showing up on the station?
I thought it might be prudent to have a sort of pet registry, so we at least know who to return them to if we find them wandering the station.
We know how dangerous this place can be, after all, and I wouldn't want any of them to get themselves hurt.
On that note, there's a white cat who followed me to my room.
I'd like to get her back to whoever lost her.
[ and there's a picture attached of an extremely fluffy white cat, sitting on top of an open book and staring at the camera. ]

i want to know why animals are showing up here out of nowhere, though. random items is one thing, but living things? that's... kind of alarming. how long before we end up with a tiger or a bear or something?

I'd be curious about the intelligence of an alien animal compared to a domestic house pet from Earth...
Even a venomous reptile. Or a swarm of raccoons, haha.
But given the nature of both the objects and the animals that have appeared so far, it feels...
Hm. Deliberate?
Perhaps not in a sentient way, but it's difficult to think of this as random. These things are too well-suited to us.

but yeah, you have a point. it's like the stuff that belongs to us that showed up here. like my game girl, or my old school uniform. there's definitely something doing that stuff on purpose, so... sure, why not the animals, too. why not

I suppose that's something we have to get used to now, isn't it?
"Earth cat."
Perhaps they're appearing because they were in proximity to us?
If there's some kind of... dimensional hole.
It might be that things are continuing to slip through, in a way.

[Don't worry, it's just as weird for him to think about.]
maybe. you're the one who likes SF here, so i'll defer to you. i guess for now let's just hope nobody was hanging around a pet elephant before showing up here
