So,
If any of you have belongings that ended up broken or shattered due to the issue with the gravity? Engine? Gravity engine? Whatever it is.
I can fix it, so long as I can hold or carry it.
Doesn't really matter what it is, just let me know and I can mend it for you.

What do you mean y'can fix it?
no subject
I mean that I can fix it.
I think that a demonstration would be easier than outright explaining.
Because if I say it, it might be hard to understand.

Can you fix a communicator?
[Because that might be something that Amos should know.]
no subject
Yes, so long as you have all of its parts.

Once we get out there, we should be able t' get a decent idea of what we're workin' with.
Huh. Alright, good to know. It ain't mine, but - I gotta ask. If you ain't used to technology like this.... your uh - ability to fix things. It ain't exactly just learning how to build a clock, is it?
no subject
No, nothing like that.
It's
magick.
no subject
I thought you might say that.
Not sure what it means that I can't even bring myself to not believe it, anymore.

I could just

Okay.
video;
Hello. It's me.
Peter.
[Pause.]
Well, uh. Here goes.
[He has a small pile of broken pieces of a mug in his hand, handled gently as to not cut himself.
Abruptly, glowing purple runes appear around him with a voice whispering.
The mug mends itself together, becoming whole once again.]
I can... do that with anything I can hold or carry. But if it's an engine or something I can't lift, I can't fix it.
I hope. That explains. A little bit. [He lowers his gaze, looking hesitant.]

fixing things is totally useful??
honestly, i'm a little jealous. all i could really do back home was hurt things.

Do you know magick then?
no subject
i figured part of that was coming someplace new, but
honestly part of it is that god wouldn't want to help me with it anymore? haha.

The only limitation is that you can hold or carry it? Not method of assembly or type of object? So it's not an acquired skill.
Can you only restore things to a prior state, or can you improve the function of newly-built things?
