[ The woman in the video is in her 30s, her distinctive hair loose around her shoulders, the white stripes making her pale skin quite noticeable. She shifts nervously as the message begins to broadcast, her expression uneasy while her eyes don't quite focus on the camera. Sure, she's looking in that general direction, she's just... not actually seeing anything. After a few moments, she finally speaks, southern drawl thick with nerves that make the words waver slightly. ]

Has anyone... Has anyone died recently? Here, on the station?

[ A pause. ]

Has anyone else died and woken up again?

[These series of questions bother Karen, because she picks up on the shifting and uneasy expression and the way her eyes don't ever seem to really connect in the same way someone addressing others on a video should. She keeps her response to audio for the time being.]

I'm not sure if anyone else has, but it's something I'll help you get to the bottom of. Are you -

[There's no delicate way to ask this.]

Do you remember what happened?

[ She recognizes that voice, though it's been a while since they last spoke. Regardless, she's grateful for the offer of help, even if she'd starting to doubt that there are any answers to be found by anyone. ]

Perfectly. I was in the gym when we lost gravity, and since I'd been running, my boots weren't on. Something happened and I couldn't move, and I floated around a bit before drowning in the pool water.

[ It's probably the twentieth time she's told the story, so please forgive her succinctness. ]

Oh my god.

[That sounds...horrific. Karen's impressed by how composed Rogue manages to sound saying all of that.]

We need to figure out a way to prevent something like this from happening again.

[Now that they understand the full gravity of what might happen if they lose gravity again, it should be easy...right?]

I think some people are already working on that, as much as they can.

[ Covering the pool, at least. There are dozens of other potential dangers on the Station if they lose gravity again, though. According to Amos, all sorts of things could turn against them in the wrong situation. ]
