[A few days after gravity is restored to the station, Ryuji returns to the mess hall from Haru's garden to find a small robot flipped upside down, panicking through a series of morse beeps and boops, which- okay, that's kind of cool, and quickly figures out that the paneling and suction entrances of the little guy means it's probably meant for filtration and cleaning.

Looks pretty study, looks... waterproof, maybe? He lends a hand to get him right side up and it starts slowly moving forward. Ryuji takes out his communicator and immediately films this as it happens, because, why not?

He posts two videos on the network- the roomba moving down the hall and one, a few hours later in the fitness center as it crawls from the edge, and dives right in.]

Oh shit! Are you supposed to do that?

Whoa, whoa- I don't know how to fix you if you--- WHOA, COOL.

Just lettin you guys know the pool looks crystal clear now. All thanks to this little dude.

I figure I should give 'em a name but uh

Everything that comes to mind is kinda lame

Ooh, I want to try! I haven't had a good vomit in a while. There's no better way to remember you're alive. Come to think of it, the last time was probably because of my sister.. we'd jump on our bed until the cot nearly gave out. Our mother nearly had a conniption. We had to sleep at a forty-five degree angle for a year!

That one is really cute. And I can tell what it means just by looking at it! No explanation necessary. 😇 I'm learning so much already.

[IS THERE SUCH THING AS A "GOOD VOMIT"... god, this is weird. True, it's definitely a sign of being alive, but there are so much better? ways of expressing that same sentience that doesn't involve being hurdled over a toilet bowl praying that your stomach stops having a rebellion against everything that you are.]

Why didn't you prop the other side of the cot up with some books to level it out? Man, your feet musta hurt in the mornings.

And sometimes pretty craftily useful. Sometimes.]

[How has he not noticed this yet? 4.28, which would mean that, due to numbering conventions of odds on one side, evens on the other... Oh, cool. That was definitely something relatively fated.

He comes upon the door and helps himself in, as instructed.

And then realizes he's in a girl's room. Is this even okay!? Curse his modest culturally Japanese upbringing.]

[He also didn't know Morgana lived here until he saw the plaque on the door. He's half expecting a tirade of insults and kicks to the proverbial and literal groin.]

Is Pippithrowstocking here... should I... be wearing armor...

[ giselle is a grandma, and as such, she's pretty bad at replying to texts in a speedy manner. it hasn't yet become a habit of hers to check her messages. as such, she didn't expect ryuji to make it to her room quite so fast — when he enters, he'll notice swaths of color and texture, almost like walking into a laundromat or an old fabric store. giselle is trying her best to organize everything. there's a veritable rainbow sweeping across the floor.

she looks over her shoulder and smiles. ]

Oh! You came so fast. [ she clasps her hands together. ] Um.. you must mean Morgana. She's out for the day. I think she might get restless when I'm working attentively like this. She gets bored faster than a cat in a box.

[ behind giselle, ryuji will probably notice a finished garment — or, well, it mostly finished. there are some makeshift pins along the edges. giselle was lacking a dressform, so it's just laying against the back of a chair. ]

[Did he come too quickly? Ryuji's eyes widen a little bit more at the mention. Was this one of those socio-cultural differences where he was supposed to not be a brat from the information age and do things punctually?]

Oh, sorry! I coulda come later, I guess. I just... uh. I have a lot of energy sometimes and sitting around doing nothing is kinda rough.

[A little shier for wear, he nods, backtracking in his head to when she was talking about Morgana. The two statements- one about her, and one about himself, align pretty well. He can't really tell if she hates him though? He thought he was being helpful that one time... the one where she threw her communicator and it hit him square on the face.]

Wow... it's really busy looking in here. [Eyeballing around the room.] It's always cool to see people who are good with their hands. [And he sees the dress.]
