I'm from Earth, living in Mikage-cho, Japan! It's a pretty normal life except for what happened earlier this year when me and my friends got dragged into an adventure together. That was more supernatural. I got to use guns and swords and talk with demons!

We also spent a bunch of time in the casino.

Demons? How'd that come about?

[She's met all sorts of creatures, but certainly not demons.]

Uh...the Collective Unconsciousness? If enough people believe in them, they can exist. At least I think that's how it goes.

My friends Kei and Elly are better at demons and the whole explanation behind them.

That's absolutely fascinating. I've heard of that in children's stories, of things like fairies and magical creatures only existing if you believe in them, but never demons.

Though, Tinkerbell could be pretty nasty. Maybe fairies are demons.

[imperialsun]

We didn't have a Tinkerbell, but a Pixie! That's close, right?

To continue the explanation, once you talk to demons and make them happy, they give you their summoning card. We take that to the Velvet Room and Igor calls them up on his phone.

Yeah, same thing. She's just a pixie in some children's stories.

How do you make a demon happy, exactly?

[imperialsun]

That depends! Demons are a lot like humans and born from human emotions so depending on their personality they might like or dislike certain things or each of our talents. A demon that might like my singing might hate Brown's jokes, or another demon might like Mark's dancing or Kei's autographed pictures, or Maki's compliments. Other demons respond well to threats and like when Reiji threatened to tear out their eyes?

In the end, it's a trial and error kind of thing.

Oh, it certainly sounds like it.

Are those your friends? The people you named?

At least they seem preoccupied enough so we could distract them this way too.

And yes, they are some of my friends I had adventures with.

That's certainly the best way to go about adventuring. I've got a best friend I used to travel with, myself.

[imperialsun]

We argued a lot and I had to keep them in line sometimes, but it was really fun. But if there's only one best friend for you, then they must be a really special.

What were your adventures like?

[oddbod]

He was. I miss him every second.

We used to travel in space, on his ship. Just planet to planet, helping people who needed us, and seeing the sights.

[imperialsun]

Then I hope he shows up here one day.

That sounds like the start of a few TV series that I've seen...I've always wanted to travel to space. Well..before I ended up here anyway.

I hope so as well, sometimes, but I wouldn't want him to be trapped. He's even more restless than me.

And I'm sorry this isn't much of a first space experience.

Oh don't worry about it! It's harsh but there's still an element of fun to it, and I got to meet people from my future, so that's interesting too.

Well if your friend is like that, let's make sure this place is better by the time he arrives.

I think it's fun too, some of the time. Even when it's dangerous, there's nothing like being tossed into the fray to solve a mystery, you know?

I know!

My friends barely knew each other before this began. We were all in the same class but barely spoke to each other...after this we all changed for the better.

[That being said, he wishes that Kei's butler didn't have to die from the zombies...]
