What specifically do you want to know?

Oh, anything. All our worlds are so different, I'd just love to hear about them.

[But she asked for specifics, so - ]

What planet do you live on?

[subplot]

Earth. I'm guessing you've either heard of it by now or lived there too?

[oddbod]

Lived there, for almost thirty years. Question is, though, which Earth - aliens or mutants? Or something else?

[subplot]

When you say aliens, do you mean gods from other realms? I guess it doesn't matter, because my Earth has seen aliens and gods and people with powers. We don't call them mutants though.

[oddbod]

Sounds like we've got another Earth to add to the list, then.

Mine's got aliens, but I'm not so sure about gods or humans with special powers. Just good old fashioned alien invasions every now and then.

Oh, there were attempts at invasions. Do the Avengers exist in your version of Earth?

[oddbod]

Not that I'm aware of.

[subplot]

Then we're definitely from different realities. It still sounds so crazy to say that. But I guess being here has taught me that anything is possible.

[oddbod]

I hear you. The multiple Earths thing wasn't totally off the wall for me, but definitely not something I'd actually dealt with.

So what are the Avengers?

[subplot]

I think they try to be heroes. They want to be, and they do usually save the day. It's just unfortunate that the saving usually comes with a lot of collateral damage. But it's the intent that counts in the end.

[oddbod]

Hate to say I know a bit about that.

[Not on the same scale, of course, but she knows that even the best plans can wind up with the wrong people hurt. Sometimes you have to let one problem go to solve a bigger one. Sometimes there are bad days and not everybody lives.]

Wait, you said people with powers. Are these them? Superheroes?

There's others that aren't the Avengers. People with powers are becoming more and more common.

[oddbod]

And they're all human? Native to Earth?

[subplot]

No, not all of them. But I think that most are.

[oddbod]

Where are the others from?

[She's curious!]
