Alright, I won't waste anyone's time with pointless questions about how or why we got here, but there are a couple of things I'm looking for information about:

1. How many minors and noncombatants are aboard this station? Note, these are separate categories. I don't care how powerful or skilled you are; if you're under twenty, I consider you a member of the former.

2. It'll be helpful for us to have an idea of each other's Quirks. I'm not under the illusion that all of us have reason to trust each other or cooperate, but presumably none of us want to be here, so. If you're willing to provide information on any abilities you might have that could be considered "supernatural" in any way, I intend to compile it for our collective use.

An army full of teenagers? How irrational.

Why? They're grown men. Fresh recruits only make up a small percentage of a capable force; some of the greatest military leaders I've known have been eighteen and nineteen.

My first-year students are fifteen. They won't go into the field until they're eighteen. Plenty of them can't handle the pressure, even then. Going any earlier is absurd.

Eighteen. That's absurdly late.

[Aizawa has to wonder if this person has ever actually worked with fifteen-year-olds, honestly. It's irrational to get worked up about a situation that he has nothing to do with, of course, but it sounds like wherever she comes from has an appalling disregard for child welfare.]

How many hours in your days? Days in your years?

Twenty-four hour days. Three hundred and sixty five days a year.

[Except leap years, but there's no need to get into that.]

Twenty hours to our days- though I've noticed that I don't report an hour like others here, and that the days on the station feel long to me. Fifty days to a month, five hundred days to a year.

[He doesn't quite bother to do that math in his head, though it does give him a ballpark idea.]

So your fifteen-year-olds are closer to our seventeen-year-olds.

[That's...better? Ish?]

We'd call them green- but certainly grown. But the Alethi are a warlike people; in other societies the age would be higher.

[Aizawa sure doesn't love the idea of kids going off to war, but at least they seem to be closer to the age where Western kids would be considered adults than he first thought. He also knows it's irrational to argue with her about her society when it's not something she can control.]

I see. Well, as far as I'm concerned, they're still kids. I don't expect you to agree, but I still consider it my responsibility to watch out for them.
