Alright, I won't waste anyone's time with pointless questions about how or why we got here, but there are a couple of things I'm looking for information about:

1. How many minors and noncombatants are aboard this station? Note, these are separate categories. I don't care how powerful or skilled you are; if you're under twenty, I consider you a member of the former.

2. It'll be helpful for us to have an idea of each other's Quirks. I'm not under the illusion that all of us have reason to trust each other or cooperate, but presumably none of us want to be here, so. If you're willing to provide information on any abilities you might have that could be considered "supernatural" in any way, I intend to compile it for our collective use.

Have the majority of people always been powered? Or was it a case where they started appearing and just eventually took over (by force or otherwise)?

No. Quirks suddenly appeared in our world at one point, but it was many decades before my time.

I'm not a geneticist, so I couldn't tell you why they've proliferated to the extent they have, but failing to manifest some manner of Quirk by the age of four is exceptionally rare in the modern day.

They display that early? In our world, mutations usually surface around puberty.

I wish I had access to a lab here. I have a doctorate in genetics. It would be interesting to compare our blood samples.

A blood sample is quite a lot more than what I asked for, isn't it?

No, you're right. It was just some academic musing. It's a moot point anyway. The laboratory is behind one of the locked doors.

I don't know that there have been any. It took a tremendous effort just to get the command door open.

That's good to know. What did you find when you opened the command door?

I don't know, I wasn't there. But it's open now, you can go look for yourself.

[So probably nothing of note. Or at least, he's assuming these people are not so paranoid that they would fail to disseminate information vital to their escape. Which might be overly charitable at this point, but the alternative is too irritating to think about right now.]

Is there anything else you wanted to know about Quirks in my society?

What with powers/Quirks displaying at such a young age, I assume there are systems in place to train young people in their use? Schools of some kind?

Of course. Primary schools have Quirk counselors to help children adjust to their emerging abilities.

Further instruction and training generally depends on what career track they choose.

Public schools? Fully integrated?

I'm sorry, but that honestly sounds like utopia.

[Aizawa would hardly call it a utopia. They've got plenty of their own problems--moreso now that All Might has been forced to retire--but he supposes to someone who's used to persecution for his Quirk, it could seem like one.]

There's little choice but to integrate when eighty percent of the world population has a Quirk.

Are the powerless people persecuted for not having Quirks?

Public quirk usage is generally illegal, so it's impossible to tell if someone is Quirkless at a glance.

Bullying exists in schools, of course, but that's not limited to Quirkless individuals. Those without Quirks oriented toward offense or defense face it too. People are always irrational about such things.

[Hell, his own Quirk is useless beyond "leveling the playing field", as it were. He had to learn proper self-defense and get damn good at it to have a prayer of being accepted into UA]

What about people whose powers manifest physically? You can't make someone's altered appearance illegal.

And they're just as accepted as the people who look human?

Honestly at this point, "looking human" doesn't mean much to us. One of my students is literally invisible.

I was a teacher, too. At a school for mutants. Only, we had to shut down when the draft started.
