[ Hi Reverie Fam, it's your resident faux texan Martian, here, his warm drawl caressing your ears. For those of you that have them and can still hear out of them, anyway. ]

So I've been thinkin'. 

We've been gettin' access to some new areas, but I'll be honest and say that there's on in particular I've been most interested in gettin' in, but we might need a team to do it like we did for the door to Operations. We need to get into the Hangar Bay. We know there is one - the map up in operations made that clear, and I'm pretty sure I even know the exact door we need to get in. We just need to get in  it.

So I thought--

[ He cuts off sharply with an ow!, and then there's a clattering noise as the communicator hits the floor. Silence for a couple seconds, and then in a breathless whisper that sounds like it's coming from several feet away: ]

Holy shit, where did these come from? [ There's another rustling and clattering and the next time his voice is audible, it's from much closer to the mic. ]

Folks, I think we've got a ride. 

I think we've got two rides, and--

Wait, what? Where the hell'd they go??

[The audio disconnects.]

Destroyin' the door to the hangar probably ain't a good idea, though. Depending on what airlock system they're usin'.

But Miller and Prax hacked into the garden, right? So we might be able to get in.

Guess we've got to get Naomi on it, yeah?

[ He grins, and it's almost audible. ]

I'm sure we can find somethin' for you to punch the hell outta, Gunny.

Yeah. Get her in touch with Hideki, at least. I'll call her up.

What's Hideki up to?

Been insertin' every possible code, startin' from the beginning, from what I understand.

But maybe she can find a way to optimise it, I don't know.

[marineris]

Damn, I'm glad that's not my thing.

[It sounds miserable.]

Hopefully we'll have something for you to fly soon.

We get in the hangar, and I'm not crazy? I'll have somethin' to fly.

I ain't sure I want Miller or Naomi or Prax gettin' down there.

You an' I probably'd be fine, but...

Hey, I'm not saying we have to move in. It's worth checking out.

Just don't like the idea of splittin' up the team, I guess.

Are you afraid something might happen to them?

[donkeyballs]

Yeah.

I don't trust this place at all, Gunny.

We all do better when we're together.

I know, but we might not have a choice.

[ He lets out a sigh. ]

But we do right now. It ain't just us, on this station.

So you want us to stay here so we can send someone else to check it out?

No. Not really.

I guess we'll just cross that bridge when we come to it. But we ain't even got Osteo-X or anythin'.
