I know of at least a few people here who were born and raised on stations like this. Without a planet's gravity well, you grow up with brittle bones and weak muscles, unless you've got access to top of the line medical treatment and training. That planet looks almost the same size as Earth, which means if they go down there, there's a good chance they'll suffocate from the gravity alone.
