hi. the name's tetora, and i need to take a cocktail of drugs regularly to keep functioning like a human being. i've already been to the medbay and it doesn't what i need exactly.

so i'm asking if anyone can help formulate the stuff i need. i've got samples you can use, so long as you get most of it back to me. i only have my skills to trade, because i don't have money and i don't have anything else valuable on me. i can make knives, if there's a need for that here.

i realize this is a weird time to be asking because half the ship's down with the sickness, it seems like, but if you've got a minute to spare while trying not to die, i'd appreciate it and owe you.

there's someone or a group of someones controlling this place. things happen that are too coincidental to be random. specific things designed to break a person down to their base components.

we're in a torture tank. plain and simple.

following that trail hasn't gotten me anything but pain, pal. but the only other option is letting this place happen to me and i can't just give up.

do you want a companion for that? i'm all for digging into places people don't want you to dig. it's usually the quickest way out.

[ frank and tetora are of the same mind there. as much as he hates every new horror incurred by the people here, he can't deny its familiarity. it's very nearly comforting for how much, that's how fucked up he really is. not that he ever has cause to voice as much aloud. ]

for wandering around watching people get sick and fade away? sure. why the fuck not.

[ he feels useless, but he knows he shouldn't take that out on a newcomer. he should be as helpful as he can be now. ]

never been, never wanted to.

[ it's true enough; between the murders and the chases and the utter insanity of his life, space travel hasn't been a priority for tetora, much less a thought that occupied his waking moments.

hell no. or at least i wasn't before i came here.

if you need help getting used to it let me know. the biggest thing is staying active so your muscles don't shrivel up on you.
