[Keith’s image comes on screen before it disappears once he realizes the device on his arm also has a video feed. Instead, he makes sure the thing transmits only his voice which sounds anything but happy right now.]

What--... What is this? What happened? [This time.] Is anyone getting this?...

[Two seconds.]

Guys...?

[A second and a half.]

C’mon! Lance? Pidge?...

[A second.]

Hunk? Princess?

[Half a second.]

[ He waves him off. ] Hey, it could've jogged your memory! Whatever.

[ Okay that's it. ] I don't know, Keith, maybe you should start looking for any kind of anything yourself! [ Aggressively starts pacing down the corridor, not even bothering to keep the feed steady. Ugh.

Still, he stops in his tracks when the reply comes, still scowling but comparing anyway. ]

Nope. I'm definitely higher up than you. Also, you don't have windows from floor to ceiling, wherever you are.

[ He shows him the view in turn. ]

I am-- Hey-- Hey! Stop walking, I told you to stay put! [Seriously, how hard is that to understand?!] How the Hell am I supposed to find you if you start walking around too? [Didn't you learn that when you get lost you are supposed to wait on the same place until someone comes to find you? If they just go walking around in circles they will never find each other!

-- And oop. He looks at what Lance is showing him, smirking a bit by the end of it. The smirk is still there when Lance looks back at him too. See? Looking around. That's all he needed.]

So we are in the same station. And you are higher up. Got it. [And he almost starts moving, before--] Stay. [-- And yeah, he is going now, faster, looking for any way up.]

Well I can't look for stuff and stay put at the same time! [ Sure he learned that. But-- look. Staying put is not his forte.

Also, shut up.

He's still scowling at that smirk, even though it'd be a huge relief to see a familiar face right now. ... In person instead of via this weird... thingie. ] Tch, fine... just let me know once you find a way up.

[ He's only going to wander a little bit. ]

You only need your eyes to look, not your legs! [And yes, he knows, hence the emphasis. Seriously, though, he doesn't want to go running in circles, particularly because they really don't have time for this.

... And there's just something weird about this place. So. Yeah. He'd rather find you sooner instead of later.]

[He doesn't turn off the connection, even as he continues to look around and talking with other people in the meantime. One particular conversation has increased his worry, though. But he doesn't want to dwell too much on that just yet.]

Have you seen or talked to anyone yet? We're not alone, here.

I need my legs to look in like any other direction than that! It's not like I'm getting lost or going far! [ Your not my mom, Keith.

... But he still stays mostly put. Nods at the agreement, too. As they stop talking, he does lower his wrist, even if he's not cutting the connection quite yet. It's only once the next question comes that he looks at it again, shaking his head. ]

No, haven't run into anyone yet. But that's... good, right? Not being the only people? I guess unless they're the ones that brought us here, but...

No, you're just making it harder for me to find you and making us both waste time! [ Shut up and trust me on this.

Keith spares a look towards the communicator again when Lance answers, before returning his attention to the corridor he's in.]

I don't know. I'm getting a lot of answers from strangers. The stuff they're saying... Makes no sense.

I already said I'm not going far! [ Can't you trust him too? At least a little.

He does frown at what Keith is saying. ] So what're they saying?

You said you'd stay where you were! [That's what 'fine' means, after 'stay'. But--] But fine, just don't move around too much. I'm not going to save you if you end up stumbling on a brain-eating space-worm.

[But then the question comes and whatever teasing or joking tone was hidden in Keith's words is pretty much gone. His voice is serious... even a little bit worried.] That we are stuck here. That the others aren't here... and that they don't even know where 'here' is.

Apparently, they were brought here, same way as us. There are alien races that I have never even heard of. And--... [He pauses a moment then, stops running, to take a better look at the communicator. His voice is a bit lower when he speaks again.] There are humans here, too. But the time they come from... It doesn't add up. It's not the same as ours. Not even close.

Brain-eating space worm. Seriously? [ Flattest expression. But then he reconsiders. ] Did you watch a lot of horror movies back on Earth or is this something you actually ran into?

[ Now that he's replying, he's nodding along to what Keith is telling him. ] Yeap... yeah that's what I'm hearing too. I did run into someone a bit ago. Also human. I, uh, can't say I asked him about what time he was from though. Like, I mean, I can't say I'm surprised there are alien races we haven't run into, it's a big universe and all, but... this is getting pretty weird, even for the stuff we usually run into.

Uh. Coran? [Hunk told him aaaaaaaaaaall about that. ... And he caught a glimpse of parts of some of the shows on TV, here and there. Allura playing him? Really? What the Hell was that all about?] I'm not the one who watches too many movies. [But seriously, that was a joke and brain-eating space-worm was the first thing to come to mind even before he thought of the Coran fiasco because yes, c'mon, those B-rated gems are as good a way as any to spend a night in the Garrison.

And at Lance's reply, he simply nods.] Yeah. Humans... They shouldn't be here. They shouldn't be here at all. Not even in our time, much less from the past.

Oh! Oh. [ He had kind of forgotten that Coran only had all those ideas because he caught an actual space parasite. ] ... Yeah that'd be a problem, it's not like we have Bii-Boh-Bi here to help out with it either.

[ However-- ] You know, I'm pretty sure Hunk has watched way more movies than me. [ He'd rather be out and about. Curfew or no curfew.

That just makes him shakes his head. ] I don't get it. I mean, what I get is that we all end up here the same way. It just seems so random.

[Bii-Boh-Who? Oh, the slim guy? Yeah, Hunk mentioned him in passing, too. And--] That's not what Hunk said. [And he heard you mention something about favorite movie quotes. How was it? 'The hunter becomes the hunted'...? Something terrible like that.

And he nods, passing a couple more doors that don't really seem to open or lead anywhere.] Yeah. I mean-- Why us? Why just us? [Honestly... He really hopes everyone else is alright.]

How would he know?! [ He's feeling betrayed here. ] Besides, I haven't watched any movies in like... a year or something! [ However long they've been in space. He should've been keeping track. In any case, long enough to feel withdrawal symptoms.

Shakes his head, though. ] I got nothing. Oh, but what I did get is someone told me what's where, more or less. Do you see any numbers anywhere that'll tell you what deck you're on? [ See? Walking around is helping! ]

I don't know. Isn't he your best-friend? [Shrugs.] Thought you guys were always together in the Garrison. [At least, it seemed that way.

And well, no shit, Lance.] ... Yeah, well. Make that three for me. [... And a small smirk.] Or something.

[But back to the problem at hand. He still hasn't seen any stairs. And-- Huh.] I passed something a while back. Deck 5? I think there's a library here. [Just don't get lost.]

Sure! [ Hunk is definitely his best friend. ... He's not sure if he's still Hunk's best friend. But, well, no use dwelling on that right now, is there. ] But we only met when we got to the Garrison, it's not like he's known me my whole life.

[ Well, that's pointing out the obvious and also makes Lance snort. ] You know, that's still weird to me.

[ However, deck numbers! ] Okay- okay so. There's six decks total, I'm on deck one right now. But get this, there's a hangar? It's on deck six. We gotta go there.
