Haha. The idea might have been influenced by my own fondness for SF fiction. But even in fiction, the concepts are often imaginative extensions of scientific theories that already exist. To put it another way: I don't need a degree in quantum mechanics to observe what I can already see on this station.
Not ghosts, as such. A ghost would be an entity that exists in the present, likely with its own will. What I'm talking about is more like... echoes. As if time has come loose, in a way.
