Well, as much as I'd like to get the pool to be functional I'm not sure we'll be able to right away. It's more important to take care of the stagnant water that's just sitting there. Once we get it drained, clean the pool, and check on the filtration system we can start to think of filling it back up with water and finding ways to keep it sanitary.

I hope that we'll be able to make enough progress that your friend will be able to swim. Can I ask why she would literally die if she's not able to?
