[She looks like hell thanks to exhaustion, but she figures that adding another project to the pile is exactly what she needs to keep from going crazy. So she reaches out to the network at large, hoping other people are listening and are open to working together.]

My name is Karen Page.

[There's a pause as she tries to figure out the best way to address her concern.]

I know none of us were expecting to be here for long, but the fact is there's no telling when we'll be able to go back home. There may not even be a home to go back to. I know people have discussed working on the fabricators, but is anyone considering the best way to repair the pool? It can't be sanitary to just leave the water in the condition it's in now.

I've been drawing up ideas, but I know this is something better worked on in a group.

[Really, she just wants a way to meet more people and figures this is a way to do that and be productive at the same time.]

I doubt we'll be able to find any here. There isn't anything useful out in space.

[Except her nail file that she found in her room, but it doesn't really have any place in this conversation.]

I'm also not sure how we'll manage to find a safe way to expose the area to heat like that, but maybe we can go take a look at the pool together and figure out a plan.

Whether or not it's safe depends on what the structure is made of. Pond scum is more susceptible to heat than steel. But you're right, that can be determined when we examine it.

Trying to find cleaning supplies is on my list of things to do today. We may have to get creative, especially if you can figure out a way to use heat to sanitize the area.

There has to be some way we can manipulate the life support system and raise the temperature enough. Even just putting ice on the thermostat or something. Then we can see if we can get the fabricators to produce a lot of salt, as I don't think we'll be able to find chlorine.

I've never dealt with anything like this before. I'm in over my head, but I want to make a difference so I'm willing to go with any ideas you come up with. I'll try getting salt from the fabricators later tonight.
