Hello.

As several before me have noted: given our circumstances, it is more crucial now than ever before that we cooperate and share any relevant information that could be of benefit to us all. However, the accessibility of this knowledge is also essential. If we have no sense of organization, then we add unnecessary frustration at least and risk at most.

I've accumulated a list of known locations and some general statistical information, which I encourage you to add to at your discretion. I believe it would be in our best interests to know the following about each of you as well:

1. Please list your name and ID.
2. Do you have any medical, technical, or mechanical skills?
3. Do you have any advanced skills in another area that you think would be of assistance?
4. Would you be comfortable using these skills if asked?

Also, I've taken the liberty to sort out how to increase security protocols. If you wish to know how this works, feel free to contact me here or privately.

Not necessarily. There's ways to exploit the security settings on private filters and direct messages. Before I modified the coding, anyone who knew what they were looking for could have glanced through our conversations without much trouble.

It's as likely as any other guess. I've tried to see if these contained anything not overwritten in their directories, but there's nothing I can recover.

I'm looking into it. They're functional, but our IDs are locked in. Enabling free posting and remote encryption and data wiping would be the next steps.

That's my guess on both personal communicators and the network. It's difficult to confirm without any residual files to pull up to examine, but the messages we've received so far aren't current.

[ Ryo lets out a little breath. It'd angle at "annoyed," but this is Akira. And Ryo knows he can't disguise the softer edges to his expressions. ]

[A low noise sounds in his throat, and he lifts the communicator a little closer to his face and punches in a few buttons and, ding!, Ryo receives an image.

Ryo watches this affair peripherally and isn't surprised by the actual contents of the message, though his eyebrows still lift a little as it loads on his communicator's screen. Instead, he just... Turns his attention after a beat, his gaze steady and flat. But, there's something about the corners of his expression that gives him away as it always does with Akira. ]

I changed my mind.
I'll think of something else to suggest to you.

[ He's probably not serious. ]

[Cue a peal of cackling laughter from where Akira's sprawled out on his part of the couch.

He knows Ryo has to be aware it's only fun to tease him because he reacts like this.]

[Glancing up would yield Akira with a very broad, very thin, very attentive smile.]

[ A lesser mortal would throw something at him. Ryo is not a lesser mortal, but he considers the action for a moment with a particular satisfaction. Instead, there's what could have been an eye roll on anyone else. For Ryo, it's just a side-ward glance up from his communicator, with all the vague exasperation that can be mustered. Never mind that stupid smile sparks something a little brighter in the blue of his eyes. ]

I need more images of locations in the station and the perimeter of hazardous zones.
You can do it if you'd like.

[ A small pause and then: ]

Provided you keep yourself out of the camera.

[No worries; Akira can always cut down through all of that performative irritation down to the beating heart of it, that Ryo really did appreciate it when he teased him like this.

But, that's true. No one else seems to bother or if they do, it isn't because they're genuinely kind about it. Even still, he lets out a little, half-hearted sigh as he taps away quickly at his communicator and then throws him another glance. One corner of his mouth quirks almost imperceptibly. ]

[ Sure enough, there's already a pop-up requesting something be downloaded on Akira's communicator. ]
