Hello.
As several before me have noted: given our circumstances, it is more crucial now than ever before that we cooperate and share any relevant information that could be of benefit to us all. However, the accessibility of this knowledge is also essential. If we have no sense of organization, then we add unnecessary frustration at least and risk at most.
I've accumulated a list of known locations and some general statistical information, which I encourage you to add to at your discretion. I believe it would be in our best interests to know the following about each of you as well:
1. Please list your name and ID.
2. Do you have any medical, technical, or mechanical skills?
3. Do you have any advanced skills in another area that you think would be of assistance?
4. Would you be comfortable using these skills if asked?
Also, I've taken the liberty to sort out how to increase security protocols. If you wish to know how this works, feel free to contact me here or privately.
Thank you.
[ ooc: So, head's up! Permission was granted to have Ryo fix up these filters for you all, but here's your catch (if you're interested): Ryo will be leaving a security loophole or "backdoor" as it were for himself (with your permission) to easily exploit so his ability to eavesdrop will be maximized. Please refer to his permission's post here if you're fine with him doing as much.
Also, if your character wouldn't agree to this? Please refer to the permissions anyhow if you eventually might be interested in this kind of technological eavesdropping. Thank you! ]

1. Jake english! Username golgothasTerror.
2. Um... well. Kind of? I can set broken bones and patch up most gouges and things of that nature. But ive only done stitches once! And they were rather slipshod if im honest about it. Uh oh yeah ive helped build a robot before? I had instructions on that though. Dont really know what counts as a technical skill? Computers and stuff you mean?
3. Im decent with guns but i havent seen any around. Otherwise fisticuffs are my jam! And youd have to work pretty hard to get me lost somewhere.
4. If you really think i can help then im a okay with using them.

"Golgotha." As in Calvary?
[ Kid knows some stuff about holy sites. Don't worry about it. ]
Any advanced medical skills are invaluable. That's typically the highest need in these situations, beyond other basics. However, that's right. Computers, engineering, mathematics, so on.
Good spacial awareness and knowledge of weaponry and combat could be useful. I'm sure many are not as comfortable traveling the station on their own, much less defending themselves.

Wow! You really know your stuff. I thought it was too obscure...
But yeah! It means place of the skull. Neat huh?
I think its the skull of adam? And the place itself was the skull of the snake.
My memory's a bit foggy though so i could be wrong.
[But he doesn't want to babble too much, even if he thinks it's really cool.]
Um righto anyhoo. Im only okay at computers.
I can google with the best of them. And if you wanted someone to smuggle you some fresh hot films before they are technically slapped down on a disc i could do that.
I dont think those are all that useful here though.
Um... if people are too worried to walk around i dont mind walking with them!
Im pretty used to strolling around dangerous places by myself.

I'm familiar with most religious texts. It's a hobby of mine.
That's mostly right. Some believe the snake's skull was crushed there, but most believe that Adam's skull was carried there to be buried. There's more theories, such as it being a unification of Gol Goatha (or a reference to it being a place of mass execution) or the name being taken from its physical topography, but the first two are more widespread.
Calvary (or Calvariæ Locus) is only the Latin equivalent of the original Aramaic (golgolta), to add to your points.
[ Ryo Asuka, everyone. ]
I'll note it. Being able to rely on others who are willing to provide those services will foster a better sense of security.
There's a range of technological familiarity. A willingness to teach up to middling skills would be helpful. Those with none at all will find that level less off-putting.
sorry for so late!
You really know your onions huh. I really liked the stories in it...
Uhm the bible i mean! And i guess even if other people find it a mite morbid i like those sorts of things.
Stories about death and so forth i mean.
So i wound up attached to those.
Why do you like them?
[He assumes other people probably aren't into it for a morbid story. When he tried to read about things online after all, people seemed to discuss all of that rather seriously.]
Oh! Yeah sure thing.
I dont think im a very intimating person.
Truth be told im kind of a doormat. So anyone nervous about it can rely on me.
don't worry! i'm finally able to swing stuff back too.
But, these were just pieces of the lives they lived.
It's difficult for humans to think in an objective, historical scope.
[ Why does he like them? Well, besides research. Hm. ]
The provide a societal context. I spend a great deal of time looking at languages and cultures.
[ He guesses. ]
That's fine. Many people feel comforted by any company.

You sound like a buddy of mine.
He always talks about things social construct this and cultural ramifications that...
Oh but i dont mean it in a negative way. I dont consider myself a great thinker. Dont really have the head for it.
But i like hearing other people talk about these things!
Its pretty goshdarn impressive that some people can invest that much time and energy into studying the world we live in like that.

I'm accustomed to talking about these things regularly.
I have to be, considering what I do.
Humans are innately curious and to seek answers to questions from family, friends, teachers, or society. Many simply aren't satisfied with what's given to them and choose to expend their energy seeking out truths. Some choose academia or recreational study, others seek out less traditionally "cerebral" answers. It's something all humans do their entire lives, but some just make it their careers.
[ In other words, we all study things. ]

So youre a teacher of some sort!
[Yes that's what he got out of all of that.]
