Hello.

As several before me have noted: given our circumstances, it is more crucial now than ever before that we cooperate and share any relevant information that could be of benefit to us all. However, the accessibility of this knowledge is also essential. If we have no sense of organization, then we add unnecessary frustration at least and risk at most.

I've accumulated a list of known locations and some general statistical information, which I encourage you to add to at your discretion. I believe it would be in our best interests to know the following about each of you as well:

1. Please list your name and ID.
2. Do you have any medical, technical, or mechanical skills?
3. Do you have any advanced skills in another area that you think would be of assistance?
4. Would you be comfortable using these skills if asked?

Also, I've taken the liberty to sort out how to increase security protocols. If you wish to know how this works, feel free to contact me here or privately.

Permission was granted to have Ryo fix up these filters for you all, but here's your catch (if you're interested): Ryo will be leaving a security loophole or "backdoor" as it were for himself (with your permission) to easily exploit so his ability to eavesdrop will be maximized. [Akira just looks up from his and gives a loose shrug of his shoulders. What, you really think he'd toss something out for something like that? He's trying his best, but he's accident-prone. (Because he's the one usually actively bringing them on.)]

[ He does not, but Ryo would. Then again, Ryo is the walking epitome of "rich people be like," which ends in throwing away shoes that come untied. Ryo doesn't sigh, as much as he lets out a breath. ]

Jenny usually handled any repairs for me.

[ That'd be a no.

A pause, and: ]

Akira.
We have a limited number of rooms.
Let's keep them intact.

[ Ryo normally wouldn't care about property destruction, but this is a finite space in space and is already intent on sucking people into walls. That's absolutely it. ]

[He's thinking closer along the lines of "your secretary lady who always has her tiddies hangin' out?" but he manages to not include that.]

[ Yes...

There's a long pause. He supposes that's enough, but it isn't quite what he wanted either. It's strange. He glances up from the communicator, to Akira, and back down again. The lack of a response isn't really a lack, but a tacit understanding that Ryo'd hold him to that. ]

Do you? [ He pauses, and adds: ]
Know how to sew.

[ It'd... Be good to know, he guesses. Especially if that means he can repair what Akira's wrecked. It's the least he can do. ]

[Ryo feels weird. He's got a weird kinda energy to him, and Akira doesn't like it; it prickles and sticks at him, makes him feel restless. He returns the look, blank and a little questioning, but he gets the feeling that the question he receives isn't the real reason why.]

[It has to be because he's worried about showing his hand as a devilman so soon out of the gate. That's the only reason that makes sense.

He shouldn't worry, then. He's not that stupid.]

[ That's clearly it.

But, there's something in his own behavior that parses as strange even to himself. It crosses like salt upon his tongue, the bluster of surf against scraped knees. It is a raw, persistent feeling. It is just that he'd rather Akira be careful and consider those who he chooses to indulge like this, that's all. It isn't that — Ryo has just cause to be concerned after it, considering the nature of the station. ]

It'd help to know.
I could source material to fix what I can of yours.

[ He supposes. ]

[It's fair. Akira isn't exactly an expert at keeping his... unique situation under perfect wraps, under all.

Yeah. That's obviously it.

At the answer, he laughs. Obviously. He also shoots Ryo a look over his communicator which seems to say the "you've gotta be kidding" that he self-edits out of his response.]

[ There's a little crease that forms between Ryo's eyebrows when he laughs at his suggestion, the fainter downturn of his lips. Sure, he might not know how to do certain things because he's never been asked, but that doesn't mean he can't figure it out. ]

I took the liberty of collecting one of the medkits.
There may be something you can use in there.

[ And by "one" he means he collected the good stuff out of a few and sorted through to see which ones had needles and suture kits. ]

I'll use it if I can't find anything else but I'll take a look around for an actual sewing kit first

I wouldn't.
There should be several safety pins. They won't be ideal, but they'll do what you need them to if you can't find a standard kit.

[ Provides you modify them correctly. And listen... ]

wait are you suggesting we make sewing needles out of safety pins???

I am.
They have the same ability to go through material. They have a larger gauge size than standard sewing needles and might be a little difficult to coax thread on and through, but they should do.

[Akira's actually looking up over his communicator as he slowly taps that one out, sending it with only a quick glance down (he hasn't perfected the art of texting without looking like Ryo has, not quite yet).]

[ At least he can MacGuyver a lot of things? Those are bound to be more plentiful than a sewing kit. ]
