Never heard of it. We don't have faster than light travel back home. Our ships use the Epstein drive—it uses fuel more efficiently so they can stay under thrust the entire journey, which means they can reach higher velocities, but there's a reason we haven't left the system. Getting anywhere else would take too long.

It still takes months and it's not entirely reliable. That's why most personnel get put in the freezer while you're in slipspace. It's... weird, but it gets you where you need to go. Eventually.
