I haven't been awake long, but I've been trying to read up on what I can, so a couple of quick questions:
Thanks.
1. Anyone managed to get past one of the locked doors yet? Either with force or another way. I know people were trying, but I haven't heard if anyone's succeeded.
2. I was told something about an organic humanoid capable of exiting the station without protective gear. If so, I'd love to talk to you.
3. Other Force-sensitives, I'd appreciate if we established ROEs immediately.
Thanks.

there are way easier ways to open doors.
like... opening a door.
although i guess that was obvious.
is it bad to kind of want to test it?
not like a full airlock drop or anything.
that sounds like a really bad way to die horribly.
but i mean, at least seeing how long i can hold my breath or something.
and i mean, i guess pressure and temperature stuff?
that's all relevant in space right

It's not a bad thing. I wouldn't normally suggest it, given the inherent danger, but considering the situation we're in, it might not be a bad idea. If there's someone in charge of the station--whether organic or AI--it could always decide to shut off the life support, after all.
no subject
i hadn't really thought about that? but it's definitely a good point.
something's got to have brought us here.
even if it's just, like, a wormhole. or god being pissed.
that sort of thing.
also
if it's personal that's okay! that's totally okay.
but uh
what does it mean to be force sensitive?
i'm guessing it's not like, an emotional thing.

[ the question doesn't surprise him, but he wasn't really expecting it, either, considering everything else going on. ]
It means being able to sense and manipulate an energy source that at home we call the Force. It's part of all living things, and all living things return to it eventually, but only a few can access it.
no subject
he's got a lot of reasons to be pissed at some of us but like. it can't be everyone.
right?
[ and she could keep talking there, but she just saw something way more important. ]
oh my god.
is it magic?
is that what you're talking about
no subject
Some people consider it magic, but I can't say I've ever really thought of it that way.
Still, I suppose it resembles magic enough in some ways.
no subject
so many people have said that.
and it's just kind of... a fact of life for me.
not to mention all the devils and stuff we have on the station.
like, i actually thought i felt another one show up today??
or maybe an angel. it was kind of hard to tell.
that probably sounds kind of crazy, huh.
it's hard to describe. sorry.
no subject
How do you mean?
no subject
it's like...
oh man. you probably don't know who god is either then, huh.
this keeps happening? somehow??
okay. i'll do my best here so just stop me if something doesn't make sense.
so god created the heavens and the earth, right?
and technically everything else.
so. all of it.
unless you're from a different universe? which is apparently a thing here.
and the devil opposes him.
she's god's enemy.
because as it turns out, god can be kind of a dick?
holy light of judgment and all that.
"thou shalt, thou shalt not." you know?
the devil rebels against all of that.
live what you want. feel what you want.
also angels are sort of god's messengers?
i forgot that part.
anyway like. idk. an hour ago??
it's like... god's holy wrath was being brought down, and someone was letting the devil in, except at the same time?
light and dark. anger and kindness.
i'd say "yin and yang" but i don't actually know how that works and it seems kind of. not my thing to use?
so. idk.
sorry. it was sort of a lot to take in and i don't really know how to describe it.
no subject
That doesn't sound that different from many stories I've heard on other planets. It seems as if the struggle between the light and the dark is a universal constant. Or perhaps a multiversal constant?
It's interesting that the dark isn't necessarily 'evil' on your world, though. It usually is on most planets. [ it can be exhausting. ]
no subject
that's. kind of cool, actually?
new but cool. i like it.
[ she thinks he must have had an interesting life. and she's not wrong, but she also doesn't know the half of it. ]
and it sort of is? evil, i mean.
if you asked someone else, that's probably how they'd describe it.
and honestly, if evil means something that goes against god...
then it sort of has to be? like, by definition.
i think that's kind of shitty.
but also, i guess i'm biased? haha.
no subject
That seems very straightforward. The nature of good and evil has been a hotly-debated topic for thousands of years in my galaxy, and will probably continue to be for thousands to come.
How so?
no subject
i let her into my heart.
and now i am her, and she's me.
i guess the way you'd put it is maybe... i gave up on the light? haha. that sounds super cool.
so what i'm getting at is, you don't have to worry.
heretical is kind of my thing?
no subject
I'm not much of a worrier, generally, but I appreciate the reassurance. Honestly, it's just been nice being able to put my name out there and have it go unrecognized.
no subject
i don't want to murder anyone!
and how would i even start a war?
i don't want to do that either but that just seems kind of crazy!!
are you normally famous?
on your planet i mean
or universe?
i still don't really get all that.
no subject
Infamous, maybe. You could say that I was something of a hero, then a villain, and now I'm a bit of a hero again. [ that's all very much an understatement. ]
no subject
that makes sense. i think? haha.
sorry. i'm bad with that kind of thing.
hero, villain, hero...
wow. that's sort of a lot?
were you like a politician or something.
