Has... anyone heard any rumors regarding this station? Mostly referring to those you might have heard before coming here, but any are good, I suppose.

[Minato hadn't heard any, but that didn't mean none existed. He wasn't sure if he hoped he was wrong or if he hoped he was right, he just mostly wanted to get back to his friends.]

There is a theory that perhaps the station is haunted, or sentient for that matter. We have basis for both of those claims that includes hearing screaming through the hallways that definitely wouldn't have been any of us.

There was also a time where a few of us experienced a hallucination of the station blowing up and falling apart. But really, it felt more like a glimpse into the past than it did a hallucination.

And I feel like this is kinda like. Heavy machinery? Being drunk could lead to you making mistakes, and that sounds kinda scary to do out here.

I believe it is at least worth investigating... though honestly it would not explain how we got here.

If it turns out that we were indeed all abducted, I will have to chastise myself for not noticing the culprit's attempt. There is still much more that needs to be uncovered about this place before we attempt any serious theories, however.

Plenty of theories, not rumors as such. Before here? Nothing. Space travel was the last thing on my mind, or anyone I knew.

If you're looking for a unifying factor, you're probably off the mark.

I'm not looking for a unifying factor. I've only just arrived here, to do so would be presumptuous of me... but I have another theory, which the lack of a unifying factor may actual lend credit to.

If enough people believe the theories, they can act in the same way as a rumor. I'd like to know what the common theories are right now, if you don't mind? It doesn't matter how ridiculous they are.

The evidence we have generally points to something happening in the past that caused the station itself to kill its prior residents. They were trying to "save the world", but "failed", perhaps due to the actions of a traitor, and we've seen recordings of some of their acts on the station, both as files sent to our devices and life-sized holograms in the corridors.

The thought is that they were developing and testing some kind of technology, possibly related to manipulation of basic reality, travel through dimensions, and/or neuroscience. The station may be sentient, and may have control over that technology, and may be using it against us.

Dude... I dunno how much rumors are gonna help you out either way. The reality of the situation is just... we're stuck here. Some of us are tryin' to figure out what the hell happened, but the station's kinda being a little bitch and spoonfeeding stuff to us.

Probably best to wait it out and just get adapted to normal living

Rumors were becoming reality. If there is a specific conspiracy theory about a space station many worlds away which is abducting people from different times and places, it might help to know what they were.
