I've been informed that introducing oneself in this manner is advisable to those who have recently found themselves on board.

My name is Connor. I am a CyberLife RK800 model android. [It was important to introduce himself this way. CyberLife androids, though very realistic, weren't ever supposed to be deceptive about their true natures. His carefully measured words and tone and even the way he moved, his expressions, all reinforced his claim. And, if there were any other doubts that he might not be an android, he had a small, circular LED on the side of his temple that flickered blue from time to time as he spoke.]

I've been granted access to all messages transmitted publicly over the inter-station network. There have been some very odd occurrences, not to mention our sudden arrival here, the locked areas of the station, and it's absent crew. I was hoping to discuss the theories that you all have regarding our presence here, especially if you have any evidence to support it.

I also wish to offer my assistance to anyone who is endeavoring to find out more about the station or a way for us to return to where we were brought here from.

She's all prim and proper, her accent clearly marking her as British, and everything from her tightly bunned hair to how ramrod straight her back is seems to scream Repressed And Conservative.

I'm afraid I've just arrived recently myself, so I don't know much, but... Welcome, even if it isn't the best welcome one could have. Um, I think... I think all I really can think of is they were trying to do some sort of project that backfired?

[Connor instantly receives feedback that indicates the message has been made private. It's noted but ignored for the moment. Despite the reply being only audio, he continues with a video, seeing no reason to change the setting.]

I've been trying to cross reference posts and individuals to find a correlation between all of those who have found themselves here, but I have, so far, been unable to find a definitive link.

[It didn't surprise him at all to hear that there were other, what he assumed to be, androids on the station. Where he was from there were nearly as many androids as there were humans.]

The same vicinity? What do you mean?

[Connor paused at the question, LED flickering blue as he searched his memory for any reference to 'Domesticon' and came up with nothing.] No. The name is unfamiliar to me.

I don't understand. Are you not also a machine?

[He tilted his head a little.] You are opposed to serial numbers? [His tone hadn't changed, still simply curious.]

No. I'm an android. I'm not some shitty machine. There's a difference where I'm from, and it's a big one. And I'm not opposed so much as I think it's convoluted as hell.

[ he knew that people had been uncovering information from various video logs, information that showed that whoever had been here before had been some real pieces of work but it still didn't explain anything fully. ]

But... CyberLife could assign me to any city.

I've seen as much. Without being present during the event, the occurrences recorded could potentially be explained in a variety of ways.

[Connor's eyebrows raise, impressed.] You're young, even for a rookie. You must be very talented. [He, of course, assumes that Akechi means that he is a rookie on the police force.] I was designed to assist detectives, both during crime scene investigation and with witnesses and suspects.

... Why? [He's genuinely curious.] Regardless, I don't expect any trouble. Nothing beyond what I can handle.

[Honestly, Connor wasn't sure he wanted to be offended. It didn't seem appropriate, a human risking their wellbeing for a machine.]

Agreed. It would be regrettable if I was damaged here. There is thirium, but if I require biocomponents, I'm not sure what could be done. Perhaps your theory that the station would provide for our needs will prove to be correct.

[He didn't react, but mentally Connor felt accomplished that he'd achieved this small victory.] I can meet you immediately if you'd like.

[Connor gives her a soft, polite smile. He really hadn't had any first-hand experience with children yet.] Just Connor, please.

Jennifer. It's very nice to meet you. [What exactly could he say? The last thing he wanted to do was frighten the girl with some of the harder to swallow theories...] That's the way it seems like they were attempting to do something they thought would benefit people. [It wasn't the theory he believed, but it was a relatively nice one. The old crew, trying to help and pulling them here by accident alone.

He glances over the parts of her clothing he can see, trying to get a read on what 'time' she might mean.] Your home is very different from this place? Are you settling in alright?

Androids are machines. If you're not a machine, how do you function? You're not alive. [Connor was still stuck seeing things as black or white. His programming didn't allow for grey area, though he was starting to question that more and more.]

Convoluted? It really isn't that difficult. [He thought for a moment.] Cars. Cars are a good example. There are many cars that look the same, they're all the same model, but in order to identify each one, they have serial numbers. In the case of vehicles, it's a VIN. For androids, it's a serial number.

The way you're talking... [He tilted his head slightly, pausing. His mission in Detroit had been to focus on deviants, but here... If he wanted to complete his original mission, the mission given to him by CyberLife, he needed to return to Detroit. By any means necessary. Did that include overlooking deviancy?

His LED flickered yellow.] ... Nevermind.

I didn't actually help with the door, as much as I was on the sidelines. Support. [ a role he's better for, than trying to physically bash down doors. ] But I saw, and yeah. We're not the same. I just told you. Machine's and androids aren't the same where I'm from. Machines were made by aliens to wipe out humans. Androids are made by humans to defend them.

[Her scoff is extremely audible, and she sounds extremely irritated.]

No... I woke up in a closet. [He says it with a completely straight face. It's simply a fact. He knew what the man was referring to though, even if he hadn't personally witnessed it.] I've watched a few videos others have made discussing the phenomena you're referring to though. A curious message, to say the least.

You don't think it could have been a mistake?

Later videos seem to suggest those voices were recordings made by the crew, a crew, that was here at some point.

[His brow furrowed for a moment.] You... Are you implying the crew in the recordings is behind this? Or are we being shown those things to throw us off? Maybe it's to elicit an emotional response.

[Connor hesitated and frowned slightly.] Yes... I didn't mean to imply that I was the only one.

Using the access to the public posts that are available to all of us, I've reviewed the strange events reported so far.

[Well, the answer hadn't been 'no', so he's going to ask.]

What are you? [His curiosity was brimming.]

RK800 [Connor corrected gently.] It doesn't stand for anything. It's simply a model number.

Yes... humans created androids to be subservient. Their programmed behavior is agreeable and polite.
