This is YoRHa Unit 9S reporting in.
How is everyone doing today? I'm sure you're all still pretty tired.
[9S is at the center of the screen, an exhausted smile on his face. He never needed sleep, but the music alone had been enough to incessantly pull him out of his own thoughts, and aggravate what patience he had left. There was a sizable dent in his wall where he'd hit it, visible just over his shoulder.
But now that he could think clearly, he finally saw something that only he, as an android, could do. That realization left him with an odd spark of inspiration. Just sitting here, doing nothing around his creators had been so boring... He wasn't going to let this chance slip by.]
That's why I'd like to offer my assistance to everyone here. If you need any errands done, I'll take care of them for you. I mean...a lack of sleep does cause motor functions and cognitive abilities to deteriorate, so it's really for your own safety.
Anywayyy... [He takes in a deep breath and sighs.] Yeah!
I look forward to providing you support.
[9S raises his left hand to his chest in a salute.] Glory to Mankind!
[ ooc: if your character asks 9S to complete a task, I'll migrate to action with him either meeting your character with it completed, or to work on it. whatever works best! feel free to contact me at

[leave it to pretty much everybody on board this space station to pique his interest — give him questions to ask about their particular timelines. but then, maybe that's just a side effect of the kind of person Dave is. time, and the sort of shenanigans that revolve around it, always seems to find him, as much as he might complain about it.]
[but, he just shrugs, almost immediately after he asks. that sort of sounds like a question that could have a long answer, and he's got some answering of his own to do, after all.]
Guess you could call it origami. Personally, I call it a paper airplane — give it a toss.
[it'll probably spiral more than fly on account of its tiny wingspan, but it might catch a little bit of that stale, circulated air everyone's breathing.]
no subject
[He gives the plane an extremely dubious look. When he squints, it kind of looks like a flight unit. A really unimpressive and flimsy one.]
You want me to throw it? You know it's not a real airplane, right?
no subject
So? It'll still fly. Probably.
no subject
Oookay, you humans sure are strange. So... I just throw it?
[He motions chucking it out of his hands. It's not the proper paper airplane throwing method at all.]
no subject
But nah, not like that — you're lobbing an airplane, not a sports ball.
[baseball. he most likely means baseball. but Dave kind of ... recreates the motion of how one throws a paper airplane, which probably doesn't do him any favors in the looking less weird department, but. someone's gotta make sure 9S can actually pointlessly use his pointless quest reward properly.]
no subject
Like this? [9S copies the gesture, tossing the airplane into the air where it promptly takes a nosedive and crashes into the floor. He didn't even flinch.]
Well, I can't say I'm surprised...
no subject
Yup, you did it exactly right. [said with the sort of expressionless affect he has when he isn't being serious.]
Anyway, I'll keep an eye out for something better to trade for the sticky notes. Thanks for tracking them down.
no subject
I'm no engineer, but maybe I can improve it's stability?
[Then, with a smile--] Don't mention it! I'll make sure to contact you again if I find any more paper.
no subject
[that's another thanks for the offer, and ... yeah, he's definitely thinking that he really needs to find a better quest reward.]
no subject
9S nods his head anyway, and with a short farewell, he's off to do some other menial task.]
