[ Hi Reverie Fam, it's your resident faux texan Martian, here, his warm drawl caressing your ears. For those of you that have them and can still hear out of them, anyway. ]

So I've been thinkin'. 

We've been gettin' access to some new areas, but I'll be honest and say that there's on in particular I've been most interested in gettin' in, but we might need a team to do it like we did for the door to Operations. We need to get into the Hangar Bay. We know there is one - the map up in operations made that clear, and I'm pretty sure I even know the exact door we need to get in. We just need to get in  it.

So I thought--

[ He cuts off sharply with an ow!, and then there's a clattering noise as the communicator hits the floor. Silence for a couple seconds, and then in a breathless whisper that sounds like it's coming from several feet away: ]

Holy shit, where did these come from? [ There's another rustling and clattering and the next time his voice is audible, it's from much closer to the mic. ]

Folks, I think we've got a ride. 

I think we've got two rides, and--

Wait, what? Where the hell'd they go??

[The audio disconnects.]

Miller got me plugged in, so I don't have to stop to sleep.

Maybe that date we found wasn't bullshit after all.

So it could take a great deal of force to break through, like Command Center did?

[ someone knows quite a lot for a new arrival ]

Are you one with the Force? [ only force users could do something as alex had just done, see through walls. if that's what's happened at all. ]

Yeah, exactly. [ He does frown to himself, because he doesn't recognise the username or the voice, but - he also doesn't know everyone on the station, so. Maybe he just didn't see her. ]

Uh - No? You mean that thing that Kylo was tellin' me about, right? Sort of a religion thing?

No, I ain't.

Not even sure it exists, where I'm from.

[There's a note of concern in Bobbie's voice that she can't manage to disguise.]

Hey, you okay? What did you see?

How the hell else would an Earth station end up this god damn far from the solar system?

If anythin' the date seems too early.

[ At that, though he looks a little excited. ]

No. It wasn't. I just messaged Hank, for the video of me when it happened? You know what happens when people disappear off the station? Where they kind of dissolve?

Miller - I dissolved. I disappeared. And then a half minute later I reappeared again.

I think I teleported.

[ Alex, on the other hand, has done a bit of snooping in the last few minutes, so when he answers he sounds excited. ]

Gunny, I think I saw the hangar. I think I saw the hangar, and I think I saw ships in there!

What, seriously? Could you tell where it was?

[donkeyballs]

Well, I sorta walked nose-first into a ship, so yeah. Pretty sure I know where I was. A couple transports - at least that's what they looked like.

I can't know for sure that's were I was, 'cause we don't have video feed from there, but--

[marineris]

How big? You think they can carry all of us?

[donkeyballs]

[ He shook his head. ]

Not all of us. Looked like they could carry 'bout twenty, maybe thirty each? Little bigger than a Martian dropship, though they looked a lot more manoeuvrable.

[marineris]

Huh. Shit. Guess we have to figure out how the hell to get in the hangar.

[donkeyballs]

I think I might have teleported.

[donkeyballs]

Hideki says he's been workin' on it, and Apollo and I tried to find an emergency access hatch for it from the outside, but we couldn't find one. We gotta go through the door.

[marineris]

Well, if my armor hadn't been stripped, I could try to force my way through.

[donkeyballs]

Destroyin' the door to the hangar probably ain't a good idea, though. Depending on what airlock system they're usin'.

But Miller and Prax hacked into the garden, right? So we might be able to get in.

[marineris]

Sure, if you want to do it the boring way.

[She's teasing!]

Guess we've got to get Naomi on it, yeah?

[donkeyballs]

Nah, I was just walkin' and talkin', and I do that every day, Hoss.

I didn't even push a weird button.

[donkeyballs]

Yeah. Don't get me wrong. I will be a hell of a lot happier bein' able to get off this station.

[ There's a pause, some rustling of fabric, as he considers the question. ]

Yeah, I think I'm fine.

[donkeyballs]

Uh - what do you mean, you don't have to sleep?

[donkeyballs]

That's what it seemed like.

Like one second I was in the hallway, the next I was running smack into the hull of a ship.

Then another minute later, back in the hallway.

[holdensteady]

So teleportation happens completely at random.

[ That's not dangerous at all but still... ]

You still think you know where you went to?

[donkeyballs]

It could only be the hangar, right? I mean - there ain't anywhere near here for thousands of klicks, far as we know.

And where else on this station are we gonna find shuttles?

[holdensteady]

Most likely but if not it wouldn't be the first thing about this place that doesn't make any damn sense, Alex.

[ There's a pause. ]

You're completely alright, though?

[donkeyballs]

You're tellin' me.

[ He lets out a breath. ]

... Yeah. I think so. I don't feel any different.
