Good Evening, Reverie Station.

I have been wondering something that is not immediately relevant. How many of you believe in God? Or in Gods? If you do, do you worship them?

Conversely, do you believe in Hell? Demons? The Devil?

I realize this is a lot of questions, and I apologize, but it would be quite nice if you would satisfy my curiosity.

One more question- for those faithful and those who are not, how would you react, should you meet someone that turns out to be the First of the Fallen? Whether you believe or not, let's say in this hypothetical situation that you do.

That makes sense. Good to know I won't have to worry about you, in that case. You and I would likely have nothing to talk about to begin with. Blind followers have never been my type.

It's astonishing. You're so ignorant, you don't even know how to insult me. The fact of the matter is that your opinion of my faith doesn't matter to me. But whether or not I believe in the particular myth you're espousing matters a great deal to you.

Maybe I wouldn't be so ignorant if you would enlighten me, but as you said, it's your own business. Why so defensive? It's none of my business how you practice, and so there's nothing to talk about.

Unless you WANT me to fruitlessly attempt to convince you of things that you already 'know' are false? I think you're just looking for an argument. Nothing wrong with that, but I'm too tired for it.

The only interest you seem to have in it is telling me I'm wrong or stupid and should agree with you. If there's something in particular you'd like to know, go ahead and ask.

But looking for an argument is sort of the point.

Haha, I do come off that way, don't I? Don't take it personally, I think all of you are wrong and stupid, just varying degrees. Now agreeing with me is a bit questionable.

Respect for at least admitting you are looking for an argument, though! [There is an amount of arrogance behind such a thing that Lucifer is really digging.]

Very well! Do you believe there is anything after death? And is God a physical entity to you, or a spirit which embodies creation? Or perhaps something else?

All of us are wrong to some degree. Including yourself. That's why it's important to question everything, including G-d.

The question of an afterlife gives him pause. He'd like to believe in such a thing. It seems to give people comfort. ]

Essentially, no. There is no afterlife. At least not as it's commonly believed to exist. G-d is ineffable. A word. An idea. A philosophy. All of this and none of it.

That's not entirely incorrect! Human souls do not experience life after death in the way that most think that they do. If you can call it an afterlife at all.

The rest I certainly don't agree with, but the answer is not unexpected. I'm not sure I should argue against it, though? I think that the belief in and of itself isn't detrimental, even if it isn't true according to my experience.

Call me a 'rebellious spirit' then, if you will.

We're all rebellious spirits in one way or another. In practice, a great deal of my faith boils down to arguing amongst ourselves and with authority. Which includes G-d. From bargaining to save a few more souls from destruction to actually, physically wrestling with Him.
