"wait, there's a problem, we're not where we..."

Maybe someone else here got another part to the message? It's just a thought!

[It was a good analogy, Haru got it in one.]

If it does turn out to be a prank, shame on that person.

A cellphone wouldn't be, no.
At least I am pretty sure it wouldn't be?
Someone would have needed to record that message with a cellphone/one of our smartwatches to send it out....

Hmmm, there are too many possibilities here.

No, no! That makes a lot of sense! If it came from a computer on the station, and it sounded like that.... then it was definitely something bad news happening.

The got the communication or video out just before the connection died.

[This is straight up like, Phantom Thief Logic. Figuring out the mysteries of the place your at is like....goals.]

I'm Haru, by the way. Forgive me for not being too helpful.

[She doesn't have the proficiency level to make good lock picks, which is a damn shame.]

That would be the best assumption. There isn't much we can do with a locked door unless someone knows how to release the locks. Maybe we should work on those doors?

It's nice to meet you too Venus-san!

Blowing things in the ship up is a really bad idea, since we are kind of stuck here right now? Maybe not the best course of action to blow up the place that we are currently residing.

They are usually kept locked with ID Cards or Handprint Scanners.

[SHE IS A PRO AT SPACE TECH, sort of. Her Father's Palace was definitely full of it.]

I have some experience, you could say!

I wouldn't say everyday. But there are situations where you have to know how to use one, and you definitely need to know how to get around them.

[She's a Phantom Thief, but that part? That's a secret.]

Unfortunately... no. I don't have any of my belongings.

There would be no guarantee of the cards working here either.
Unless we knew someone who could reprogram the card reader to read the magnetic strip on the ID Card.

... and that sounded like such a good plan too!

He didn't do anything bad to it, did he?

[It makes her think of Futaba, trolling them by hacking into their stuff.]

I suppose I'm not really one to ask either, it's okay! I think we'll get this all figured out soon enough.

Ah!
I didn't mean to cause alarm!
Please forgive me for that, I just tend to stay on the cautious side! :(

Maybe he didn't? Maybe he was doing something to it to help you out?

[personal profile] mapsio 2018-05-12 05:00 am (UTC)(link)
I guess you make a good point there.
Just maybe don't trust too many people who offer to do things to your watch right off the bat?

But if you say he seemed nice enough! I'm still sorry for assuming otherwise.

I really really hope that isn't the case?!
If it is, maybe...well. I don't know. I don't think it would be that serious!
