What planet are you from?

Feel free to include sector, star system, everything. Just in case.

I thought this might be a good place to start as far as gathering information goes.

All the Earth people seem to think there's no life on other planets. So are you from a different Earth having universe or is their technology really that behind?

Possibly the same universe as some of them, but from a different time. Their present-tense is sounding a lot like my history class back in middle school, so I'm guessing they haven't got with the modern era just yet.

Hard to tell with other star systems. I doubt we use the same chronological measurements.

But yeah I didn't even think of that? We use years or cycles, which have 12 months and 365 days. But a lot of planets have their own systems too! Like for example the year is 3276 on my home world.

Nevermind, that's similar enough to what I'm working with. Years, months, weeks, hours. Think someone with a mind for numbers might be able to chart our coordinates, if we can find a window that faces the outside?

Something-something looking at the stars, math, geography. I didn't really pay attention in class.

Probably our best option is getting off this thing which well duh and then heading to that planet or whatever the closest planet with sentient life is

Then we can ask around for more details. Coordinates can only do so much when we don't even know which galaxy or universe we're in. Plus it'd be hard to calculate without knowing anything else about this place.
