I took a short flight out the airlock. I wouldn't generally recommend it if you're human.

How does it look for durability on that side? Maybe a loading dock or something we could use as an entry point, if we hit it hard enough.

It looks pretty tough. And I haven't been able to punch my way through anything on the inside so I doubt I'd be able to do it from the outside.

Good idea though. I do like ideas involving hitting things hard, as a rule.

Do you have any information to give us a sense of scale? What part of the structure are we on, near the top or somewhere in the spire?

Scale: far bigger than we have access to, I know that much.

Structure: well I took a deck 2 airlock and came out near the topmost ring. And I suppose "top" is a bit subjective, what with it being space.

At least I can safely say we ain't on a station I've ever seen before. The style ain't too unfamiliar, but if there were a station like that in the solar system, I'd know it.

Me neither. Interesting that you think the style is kind of familiar... though I guess there's only so many ways you can build a space station in the universe.

Not everyone needs a ship to go zooming around space, sailor.

I've begun making a map of the areas I've been through and marking locked doors. Knowing the shape of the ship now will help, at least with orientation.

Did you find a small ship or craft to take this?

I know a few people on here who would be really interested in helping you with that map, me included. Until we find something official, that's probably the best thing we'll have for navigating around.

No, I went out myself. Although that's a good point... For a space station this place is pretty suspiciously lacking in ships so far.

No, no space suit needed. I haven't seen any suits at all yet actually. Which is weird, but I suppose the original people from this station have probably taken them with them.

Oh yes. Me and space are old friends. Admittedly not this bit of space exactly. I still have no idea where we are...

This is very helpful. You have my thanks.
I know some people, myself included, have been hesitant to accept this as a space station rather than an elaborate set-up without certain proof.
At least we have proof now, I suppose. It's better than nothing.

Yes and no respectively. I don't need a suit when I go out. One of the perks of being me.

I took an airlock on deck 2. I haven't found any spacesuits, sorry.

Yeah, I'm starting to get the impression these doors really don't want to open. Which is making me want to open them even more. There's got to be a command center SOMEWHERE behind one of them.
