Hi everyone. Apollo here. I don't think I've met even half of you yet but I thought I’d share this:

Has anyone had any luck opening the locked doors? This place looks like it’s way bigger than what we have access to so far. Please do share with the rest of the class if you find anything interesting...

I have done some exploring, though to no particular avail. Still, it is good to have some impression of the station. This helps as well.

I say familiar, but just in that it uses rings, really. Never seen anyone try to pile 'em like that, before.

This is very helpful. You have my thanks.
I know some people, myself included, have been hesitant to accept this as a space station rather than an elaborate set-up without certain proof.
At least we have proof now, I suppose. It's better than nothing.

Scale: far bigger than we have access to, I know that much.

Structure: well I took a deck 2 airlock and came out near the topmost ring. And I suppose "top" is a bit subjective, what with it being space.

I don't suppose you've got superheroes on Mars, have you? Because the zooming part has a lot to do with that.

I'll try and create some sort of open-source database and ask for others to help.

Whoever was here might have evacuated with all the ships. We should try and locate some sort of station-wide black box or travel logs.

That makes sense. I've only been able to access approximately five decks, which seem to be mostly focused on living spaces. All the work spaces must be further down on the spire.

Did you notice any other structures like this orbiting the planet? Views from the windows are limited, and I haven't been able to find any sort of sensors.

No. It's mad. I'm starting to get a little pissed with it now. Doors have no right to be that difficult to open.

I'm guessing a black box or log would be found on some kind of command deck, right? The bridge maybe?

I took an airlock out. It's not my first time flying in space.

Not that I noticed. But it was something of a test run, I wasn't looking all that hard. Next time I'll be more prepared to explore.

It's the command deck that I'm most interested in finding. I'm assuming it must be on deck 1. That's where I'd put it, anyway.
