As of this moment, I no longer require any blood donations from those who have offered me in the past, or from those who regularly provided. I thank you for what you have given me. Where I am from, such a thing would be impossible if I were honest with my heritage and requirements. If I can ever repay you for your kindness and generosity, know that I will do so swiftly.

To the rest of you, I wished to speak briefly of the clinic. I have been very fortunate to gain the assistance of Hajime, Jun, and Jennifer who wish to either learn how to help medically or already have the capability to assist. Should there be anyone else who wishes to learn, I will teach you what I know.

However, it has come to my attention due to recent circumstances that I was not as forward thinking as I would have liked. I am equipped to assist with individuals who are primarily organic in nature whose biology is similar enough to a human's. I was less prepared with others, like androids. I have come to learn the anatomy of one, and I have been advised on how to assist with others. I recommend if you have unique needs that you inform me. If you wish to make it a private conversation, I am available to you.

Those who have healing magic, I would ask that you inform me privately. I want to know who else I can rely on. I do not insist, but if supplies end up dwindling or an injury is too great, it will help.

...Lastly. Should any other medical professional have arrived and you are able to help, I encourage you to speak. I am prepared to relinquish my position to someone with more years of experience than I.

Before, I was aware that the replicators could theoretically make blood for me, but I had witnessed too many people getting sick. It was... not something I could chance or risk at this time.

Fortunately, Connor is able to test its safety for me now. I can regularly have a meal, so long as he is able to test it for me.

The replicators provide food regardless of species. It also provided Connor with what he needed, curiously. Or the closest equivalent an android would need for food.

Particularly helpful, should anyone need a blood transfusion.

Yeah, that's huge! If I get injured, I'm not completely SOL because of my species. I mean, I can lose an absurd amount of blood before it becomes an issue, so I'm not in as much danger as a human. Trolls are tough like that! But there isn't anyone else like me on the station, and even if there were, they'd have to be a teal like me before I could get a transfusion from them.

Mm. Humans are indeed quite delicate. So long as we can test the results from the replicator, then we have options.

Unfortunately, we still lack proper equipment. I'll have to see if I can arrange tools for a transfusion, should we ever need it.

Unfortunately, no. I wish it were different, but we still have no sign of where this station's true clinic is actually located.

So, if you're lacking access to proper medical equipment, how'd the blood get tested, anyway?

Connor is the android that has recently awakened here. He offered to test it for me to ensure it was safe. A curious feature; he is able to analyze the substance of material. It is immediate.

He has excellent manners and has been incredibly helpful.

Well, if you ever need help sniffing something out or tasting a color, I can do that much, at least!

When you taste a color, is that all you can narrow down? Not its contents or anything of the like.

How sensitive is your sense of smell?

[iustitia]

I can taste either the color or the actual flavor. You know when you look at a mirror and can focus your eyes on either the surface or your reflection?Like that. But that's about it. I can't do any kind of chemical analysis or anything like that.

And my sense of smell is hard to explain. Sniffing is never going to get me the same kind of quality as licking. But I'm good for other things! Like smelling smelling someone's trail. Or abstract concepts. Or someone's fear or their lies.

Those are still useful skills to know about. It may not be chemical analysis, but not everything boils down to comprehending the composition of material.

Sometimes, it is abstract concepts.
