As of this moment, I no longer require any blood donations from those who have offered me in the past, or from those who regularly provided. I thank you for what you have given me. Where I am from, such a thing would be impossible if I were honest with my heritage and requirements. If I can ever repay you for your kindness and generosity, know that I will do so swiftly.

To the rest of you, I wished to speak briefly of the clinic. I have been very fortunate to gain the assistance of Hajime, Jun, and Jennifer who wish to either learn how to help medically or already have the capability to assist. Should there be anyone else who wishes to learn, I will teach you what I know.

However, it has come to my attention due to recent circumstances that I was not as forward thinking as I would have liked. I am equipped to assist with individuals who are primarily organic in nature whose biology is similar enough to a human's. I was less prepared with others, like androids. I have come to learn the anatomy of one, and I have been advised on how to assist with others. I recommend if you have unique needs that you inform me. If you wish to make it a private conversation, I am available to you.

Those who have healing magic, I would ask that you inform me privately. I want to know who else I can rely on. I do not insist, but if supplies end up dwindling or an injury is too great, it will help.

...Lastly. Should any other medical professional have arrived and you are able to help, I encourage you to speak. I am prepared to relinquish my position to someone with more years of experience than I.

Thank you.

[The call registers as video, but displays only a geometric mess of blue. Those who recognize the logo won't be too surprised by what comes next.]

<Welcome to Domesticon. Working together today, for a more efficient tomorrow.>

[Cheery and automated, like a call center recording... and replaced, immediately after with a much more human range of tone.]

Hey. Me again.

So, your friendly local techs took a crack at system access the other day. Most functions are still locked, but we're reading big electrical spikes along the shaft and behind the sealed area on Deck Two. Something to think about, if you're the type to pry at doors.

[If, unfortunately not the only thing.]

This also, ah... showed up on the camera feeds.

[The AI's "face" vanishes from the video display, replaced with a view from one of the consoles. It shows a young, fair-haired human making his way down one of Reverie's many halls: Snake, for those who knew him. He doesn't do anything unusual. But after a moment, the human's outline distorts... shimmers... and melts away, leaving no trace of flesh or clothing.

The video reverts, and Hank's voice picks back up, tense with concern.]

He's not the only one. Run a headcount with your friends?

[[ooc: The tech collaboration he's referring to is here. While not OOCly planned in conjunction, the Deck 2 spike is the same area Team Door will be ICly going for on the 15th—so feel free to have your characters connect the dots!]]

[Yo, Reverie Terminal. You're treated to a video of nothing but ceiling and muffled noise for a moment, until Aqua twitches her wrist and lo and behold, it's a girl on-screen!

There's more silence as she seems...caught? On what to say. Or who to say it to. She turns to mumble something to someone off-screen, before sucking in a breath and going for it.
]

Hey. I hope everyone can see this?

My name is Aqua, and I'm looking for a boy about [she gestures below her chin, though it won't be helpful at all from the network's vantage point] this tall named Ven, and a young man about my age with brown hair named Terra. And if you've seen any strange monsters around here, I'd like to know about that too.

[Aqua sweeps a hand through her bangs after, thinking again.]

...I've only just arrived here, but this place is confusing. More than any place I've been to before.

[Like, mostly because of the waking up after being knocked unconscious by nothing aspect? It's not as if Vanitas is around anymore to cheap-shot her.

HOLD ON, SPEAKING OF BEING UNCONSCIOUS!!!
]

Oh, actually, um. [WELL.] Is it normal for our old clothes to be replaced by suits like this sometimes? There was no one around when I woke up...I feel like this needs to be addressed. Thank you.

[ The video opens to Amos munching on what looks like one of the protein bars the fabricator seem to produce by the dozen. He's looking straight at the camera - this is no mistake broadcast, he learned from the best how to do this - and half of him is in the frame. ]

People keep on asking me about this stuff once they realize I've lived in space a while, so I'm just going to share my wisdom with you all so I don't have to say it a million times again.

[ He stands, the angle of the video changing as he grabs the communicator he borrowed from Alex to broadcast this. As it moves, it pans over what looks like a very large shortgun type of weapon. It ends up points towards Amos's lower body, more specifically, his boots. ]

Okay, first off, keep your mag boots on. Sleep with them if you can. To engage them, lean back on your heels, and walk like you're wearing pumps. Heel first, then toe.

[ He demonstrates on camera. How does he know how to walk in pumps? Who knows?

He turns the communicator back up towards his face, after a few steps. ]

Second, if you feel nauseous when you're walking around the station, try to see if you're walking spinward or counter-spinward. As in, if you walking with the spin of the gravitation rings or not. Walking against it is going to make you feel worse.

Third, don't eat too much, but don't forget to eat, either. Sounds basic, but you'd be surprised.

[ He almost adds that coffee is not a form of food. ]

Fourth, make use of the fitness area on deck 4. We're not at full gravity here, and in space, you lose muscle mass very fast. If you don't want to turn into a noodle, weightlifting and cardio.

Fifth, stow your gear. There are all of these compartments in the crew quarters, don't leave shit hanging around. Anything can turn into a weapon if we suddenly lose gravity, or if it turns out that this barge can do maneuvers. You don't want a mug coming at your face at 4-g.

[ Seriously, stow your gear, people. It's not that hard. ]

Sixth, don't use the sealant guns without gloves. This shit will glue your hands together. Be smarter than that.

[ He resumes eating his protein bar. ]

That's the most important points I wanted to make. Now, if you've got specific questions, shoot.

[9S' voice comes in smooth and practiced, at least for the start of his introduction.]

Greetings, this is YoRHa Unit 9S. Most of the people here I've met are humans, but I'm an android. The humans of my world have lived on the Moon since 5012 AD, when the aliens invaded, and we androids were created to reclaim the Earth from them.

[There's an awkward pause.]

...It's been a long time since then, though. Coming here was the first time I was able to even meet a real human! It's truly an honor to meet all of you.

[With that stuffy introduction out of the way, 9S' gains a little more character. Really, he sounds like a totally different person.]

Soooo... I saw the station roster. Isn't a lot of this stuff redundant? Uh, seriously, I don't know what half of these mean? Is there a difference between a medic, a doctor, and a surgeon?

Er, anyway. I'm good with computers, so I guess that means I should work in Computing & IT.

...Or as a Computer Engineer?

Well, I'm here to provide support wherever you humans need me. Glory to Mankind!

Hi. My name is Captain Steve Rogers. I wanted to introduce myself to everyone. Where I come from, protecting people was very important to me. It still is. This ship is dangerous and I think we're getting side-tracked from an important conversation here.

I don't think we should worry too much about that roster file we were sent, but it's not a bad idea to have some sort of security team that can respond to a crisis and keep track of everything we have figured out about this place so far. I'd like to help with any effort like that, but it might be best if we wait before assigning rank to anyone. Fighting over who's the boss or throwing baseless orders around isn't going to help anyone or keep them safe. Our priorities should be safety and finding a way to leave.

It's been suggested to me that some of the things that have been happening to us could be some sort of security response from the ship. Does anyone with a better understanding of computers want to weigh in on that? Can anyone try to access those systems? There's still a lot of the station that we can't access and I know some of us have been trying to work on that.

Finally, if there's anything else I can help with, please reach out to me.

[ And a later text that follows: ]

I think people have misunderstood what I want to do. I don't want anyone to have power over the rest of us. This would be for dealing with outside threats and organizing information that would be available to everyone. Anyone who wanted to help would be welcome.

This roster. It seems other people have gotten it too. It's obviously evidence for what was happening here, but also a good suggestion.

They had a Chief of Security. Where I'm from, my job was to keep things secure and safe. So unless someone has reasonable objections to it, I'm going to continue that work here. Call me Chief of Security or not. I don't care.

I'm going to mark areas known to be dangerous, like the sinking doors. If there are any other locations you notice and are worried about let me know. And if anyone personally does anything harmful to another person then I will step in and stop it.

[It's been nearly two weeks, with no sign of evaluation. Nobody except the Butler who even uses the same terms. And he has startled threats out of half the crew he's tried to speak with. At this point, sounding things out is practically required. The fact that it gives Hank an excuse to talk to a whole structure of real, living people?

Just a very big side bonus.]

<Welcome to Domesticon. We keep your property efficient, so you don't have to be.>

[His opening script, on the other hand? Not exactly what he'd have picked. While it logs as video, the incoming message shows only a geometric hash of blue. The sound emerges as a cheery robotic monotone—before cutting to sheepish, human-sounding words in the same voice.]

...or, uh, not. Sorry about that. Having trouble, syncing a few scripts. [All is a few, right? Still, the AI's tone brightens, curiously eager.] But wow is it cool to see this place coming to life!

Seeing how generous our hosts have been with the invitations, I figured I should say hello. Former facility administrator. Current occupant of your backup comm system. [There's a note of rueful irony.] Which, a few people have been disassembling. There's not much to find, but if you do want to know about the systems, I'd be glad to talk. Stop by anytime.

[Rather than, say, dismantling the computers he lives in. Please? Those near a communication console (found in each public space and at either end of all the halls) will see the display flicker briefly: showcasing the same hashed blue logo.]

...

While I'm on the line. What's the state of technology where you come from? Autonomous or otherwise.
