can someone tell me what kind of animal this is?

i've never seen anything like it before and i don't think it likes me very much but it lives here now?? not in my part of the quarters though

i've been trying to get the bar into working shape and i used to work as a bartender back home, which i liked
if i can be more useful doing something else, let me know, but if not
would anyone mind if i try to keep the bar in shape and run it? not for money, just for something to do
some of the bottles there have stuff that's still good so we might as well

They have that reputation, yeah.
They're a species known for scavanging through anything they can get their hands on to survive. They're also pretty intelligent.
In cities, they were often treated as pests because they broke open garbage containers and got into trash, so they could be a vector for disease. Not to mention their reputation for rabies..
That isn't likely to be an issue here.

I read about them. They used to be a thing on Earth before it all went to shit.
If you can get an easy replacement, sure. If not, see what we have for sanitation.
All else fails, you can give it a rinse and then I'll hold it out in the vacuum of space long enough for any bacteria or viruses to die.

That's something with a long answer, a stupidly long answer, and a short answer.
The short answer is I have magic powers that make space flight a thing for me.

It's kind of stupid.
I played a video game that interfaces with the fabric of reality, and the video game had me die and get resurrected as a God.
Divinity apparently includes space flight powers by the game's rules.

It lacks raccoons, so I guess you could count that as one point towards a kind of normalcy.

I guess that would be tough to adjust to.
