Reverie

So I'm sure we've all noticed by now that there's no clinic or medical bay or anything on the ship. At least, not that we can get to?

[ astute observation, Ren. ]

So I'm grabbing one of the family rooms near me. It's uh...The 23rd room on the sixth floor for Crew Quarters. I'm going to turn it into a little clinic-medbay-thing as best I can. I'm going to try and make some sort of sign.

We don't have a lot of supplies, so I was hoping everyone would be willing to bring the medkits you've collected. I'll be taking some of the extra linens from the laundry room so we can try and use them as bandages. I haven't seen any bleach, so I'm going to try really hard to get everything as sterile as I can with soap and hot water.

So...aside from medkits, I was hoping to see if anyone else has medical knowledge or any ideas for how we can keep this safe and clean that they'd like to lend. Or suggestions for what we can substitute for actual items... Right now, we can't really do a lot of more serious stuff, but...

A lot of what I know is from experience and research, so I guess I'm useful for trying to do things with very little...but if we have actual medics, it'd be really helpful.

[ ooc; mod's have OK'd Ren grabbing an extra room, but he's going to be careful when it comes to new people being brought in, because if they haven't registered to a room they'll get registered there! also a head's up that medkits are limited, so if you're character wouldn't be willing to give one up, that's totally cool! ]

[ If it's one thing Ren's learned from his time with Strade, it's that only the strong and useful survive. So he doesn't just need to find someone strong to protect him, he needs to make himself useful. He...doesn't have much he's good at, but there is one thing. And judging by the mess of everyone arriving, they'll need it. ]

Uh, hey everybody! I just thought I'd introduce myself! I'm Ren. I...guess I got brought here with all of you. I've met a few people already...

[ Slowly the nervousness in Ren's voice dies away. ]

I just wanted to introduce myself and let people know that, if you need it, I'm pretty good at first aid. I can't do major stuff, but I've got plenty of experience with stitching and bandaging wounds. [ Judging by the account of scars on him, he must. ]

I guess we'll just have to make do with what we have, though. Since it's only the first-aid kits.

Also...don't go pushing on any doors.
