So uh

I see everyone got this bullshit list of bullshit. Or at least numerous people.

So here's the deal. You got this shit here that don't mean shit, like "Geoscience"? Is that even relevant to us right now? "Comms Officer". Yeah that sure as hell doesn't mean shit to anyone here. Sounds like some military crap, first of all. Here we are, everyone using the comms and I can't see anyone figuring out how to stop someone yet. "Quarter Master"? Who the fuck even cares.

Now "Chief Food Supplier" is something we direly need but seeing as all we have are those crappy food dispensers, I'm not entirely sure what you would even do. I think that could be reworded to "Head chef" too, unless one of you fuckheads want to fly your happy ass down to that planet over there and try to catch some real meat.

Anyway, that's all just unnecessary garbage, but what I'm trying to get at is that we HARDLY have what could pass as a society here, and I don't know about you, but ain't none of you paying enough to get me or like anyone with a shred of self-respect to be a goddamn "Waste Disposal Chief". We don't even have an economy here.

So, how 'bout we just set this shit aside and don't even think about it, honestly? If you want a roster so bad, take one of those books and write everyone's names down.

Hi. My name is Captain Steve Rogers. I wanted to introduce myself to everyone. Where I come from, protecting people was very important to me. It still is. This ship is dangerous and I think we're getting side-tracked from an important conversation here.

I don't think we should worry too much about that roster file we were sent, but it's not a bad idea to have some sort of security team that can respond to a crisis and keep track of everything we have figured out about this place so far. I'd like to help with any effort like that, but it might be best if we wait before assigning rank to anyone. Fighting over who's the boss or throwing baseless orders around isn't going to help anyone or keep them safe. Our priorities should be safety and finding a way to leave.

It's been suggested to me that some of the things that have been happening to us could be some sort of security response from the ship. Does anyone with a better understanding of computers want to weigh in on that? Can anyone try to access those systems? There's still a lot of the station that we can't access and I know some of us have been trying to work on that.

I think people have misunderstood what I want to do. I don't want anyone to have power over the rest of us. This would be for dealing with outside threats and organizing information that would be available to everyone. Anyone who wanted to help would be welcome.

Since there is an ongoing trend of announcements of those refusing to adhere to a manner of command as well as those who seek to keep a peace while they are accused of taking power. [His tone is very flat in that beginning statement.] I felt it necessary to speak a bit on this as well as it is somewhat related.

In light of Ren's hard work on our makeshift clinic and the questions Asuka posed, I will be spending much of my time acting as your surgeon and doctor unless someone more qualified steps forward. At that point, I will immediately relieve myself.

This is not a statement of authority. This is an assurance that if you are injured or ill, I will do everything I can to help you. I also request that you provide any medical supplies you are willing to part with, including first aid kits.

With this all in mind, I also encourage you to submit the following form to me electronically, and I would like to also propose a time for physicals to check on your overall well-being. You are not required to do any of this, but I recommend it in case you are to be treated later.
